1 problem i was having was when i ran mixed modes in UMM with the vote map.

First half of my rotation would have Small conquest,Rush and TDM and after 16 players the larger Conquest would replace the smaller versions.

Now say for example Caspian Border (CNQ) was voted on while in the first half rotation and the server then filled up past the 16 player limit the UMM would ignore the Conquest part of the vote and play Rush or TDM Caspian Border instead.

I asked aether in his votemap thread if he knew of the problem and he said

UMM is given the voting result to decide the best next map available. You'll have to ask falcontx for this change.

That's normal. If map lists are changed, UMM will choose the voted map and game mode, if available. However, if the exact game mode isn't available on the new list, as in this case, it just chooses the same map.

From the perspective of the server/plugin, it's still a different game mode. I'll see if I can work something out in a future update, though.

I need some help here to use this plugin.

Im having some troubles with it, the map rotation sometimes get crazy and sometimes we play the same map 3 times.

I need this configuration to my BF3 server:

00 To 16 players: TDM Maps.

16 T0 32 players: RUSH Maps.

32 To 64 players: Conquest Large.

This is our setup.

Do we have to delete all maplist.txt? To create the new one?

Im getting crazy! THX 4 ALL!

There's nothing particularly wrong with your setup, but if the number of players is hovering around 16 or 32 players, it may keep switching between the map lists those min/max values. On top of that, it seems you're always using "Start with first map", which means that each time the map list changes, it's always going back to the same map. I'm sure the combination of these things is what's causing your problem.

First, you should change the configuration to something like:

00-20 TDM

16-32 Rush

28-64 CQ64

I just made those numbers up, but by creating an overlap between the min/max values, you're less likely to have it switch between map lists so often. Also, consider changing the list start preference to something other than "Start with first map".

I think another nice addition to this would be to trigger the map changes, would be if you set the minimum players of 1map list to say 20 if your server reaches 20 at the end of a round the next map list should kick in. I know theres an option that changes the server immediately if you set a player count but its kinda know what i'm looking for.

I have 2 map list maplist 0 with all maps and maplist 1 with just oman. I fill the server up on oman and once the server is full and the round ends i'd like maplist 0 to kick in but it doesnt

Assuming you have it configured properly, that's what should happen. For example, if you have MapList0 set from 8 to 64 and MapList1 set from 0 to 20, then the server would start with MapList1 and once it had more than 20 players at the end of the round, it would switch to MapList0. Then once MapList0 has less than 8 players, it would switch back to MapList1.

I have tried with Adaptive Ticket Count but I get Karg Island , Caspian Border , Karkand with 500 and Gulf of Oman with 577?

Thanks

Some screenshots of the config again:

This is the plugins we have on procon, maybe one of them is doing something wrong with it.

The plugin doesn't know if it's going to change until after the round is over. If I did this, then the plugin may yell that the map list is changing, but if some players leave at the end of the round, it may not actually change.

It could be done with this plugin, but there's no reason why Adaptive Ticket Count wouldn't work if it's configured properly. Post about your issue in that thread.

Thanks FalconTX,

I must of had this config incorrect as this did not work, the setting i have now is maplist0 set at 20/64 and maplist1 0/40 would this setting work if i start fill the server on maplist1?

Thanks for your support buddy

Peace.

The file with all of your plugin settings is in the Configs directory and it's named for the IP address and port of your server like: 123.123.123.123_48888.cfg

Yes, you need to set the time zone to the one that you want it to use for changing maps.
