Tbh time wise nothing seems consistent, the ping refresh rate is all over the place........I'm wondering if this is a game server issue

Well 1st question is kind of semi on topic: Is the ping we see in PRoCon now the ping values from the game server to the player (The same ping we see in the ingame scoreboard) or is it my PRoCon server's ping to the player.

2nd: What ping values does this plugin use, the PRoCon servers ping to the player or the game servers ping to the player.

The reason I'm interestet in this is that I have used the "Ping Players" plugin, but it pings the players from my own server, and sometimes my internet connection f***s up and my ping raises to >300 to the game server, and then it starts kicking players with fine ping.

If this plugin uses a ping value it gets from the game server regardless of my own ping it would be really great

Is there any chance you could implement a "time zone whitelist"?

Would like my plugin NOT to kick anyone for high ping from let's say 2AM till 8AM, as we usually get a lot of foreign players that help keep the server alive 24/7.

Thanks!

We're getting some weird kicks too. We've set ping limit to 120ms with average ping kick method (20 samples, 10 pings) and it constantly kicks people with, weirdly, ping around 120. For example: Player1 was kicked because his ping was 121, Player2 because ping is 125...it goes up to 135 but averages around 120-130. To make things worse, people who have good ping but, for example, had few spikes, get kicked too. Some of them are my friends with constant pings around 35, I had to add them to white list to stop this kicking, which sometimes fails too (they get kicked although they're on whitelist).

Had to revert to Morpheus' Ping Players because of all this...

I'll add in an extra debug with shows which pings were used for the average, might show whats happening to those people.

As for the kick loop, i'm stumped.. It simply should not be happening.

I'll take another look and see if I've missed anything..

I have to upload the plugins trough our ISP's Control Panel rather then ftp so im not sure if that could be the problem or something else is screwing me up. I will try and upload it by ftp, but im not entirely 100% sure if i can access ftp to the procon layer/server.

obviously optional.

Really liking this idea. We too get international players late at night and would like them to be able to play. Then while the locals are on during the late afternoon to evening we would love to be able to lower the threshold.

My guess would be that the plugin was corrupted when you uploaded it.. Try it again

I am stumped as to why Latency manager is not working. I have tried setting both average and instant kicks with no result. I have set the ping limit to a very low value (5) and no-one gets kicked.

Is there some debugging that I can set rather than the simple debug message option? I see no debugging information at all other than when the plugin is enabled/disabled.

I am using the latest version of procon and the plugin.

Any suggestions?

I have wiped and re-installed my procon layer and all appears to be working now. Still not able to determine what caused it.
