For our users in Taiwan, We can't directly use the original Procon version.

We can currently use only modified versions from China, But in the IP information is problematic.

This version is cancelled use of GeoIP.dat file, Change to a file used by China. (IPIP.dat)

How can I get the correct version for me?

Because I have to provide Chinese messages on my server.

Also we must be able to correctly judge, In the server player's country.

Excuse me, Can anyone help me?

I think there is a change to the core, anyway, China's version is not the original version, Maybe I need to be able to properly support Big5 or UTF-8 versions

I think this should only be a language file, But to be able to input and display Big5 text in Procon, Should have to modify the core to have a way to achieve.

I'm unsure whether I have understood you correctly, but for partial UTF-8 you may want to look here: https://github.com/Mik4sa/Procon-1/c...410666973a8207

As far as I know there is no complete UTF-8 support possbible (due to limitations by RCON itself)

Dear customer,

your ProCon game server (game server ID: 788812) has been stopped automatically by our control panel. Our software detected a crash loop with 7 crashes of the game server executable within the past 30 minutes.

This may be caused by the game, game title backend or misconfiguration of the game server. To prevent further impact on the server resources, and impact to other game servers, this game server is automatically stopped. You may restart the game server through the control panel once the cause of these crashes has been resolved.

If you would like to receive support in restoring the game functionality, please reply to this ticket.

This is the notice I just got, Although there are many reply after.

But the basic reason is that [uEF] SpRos_CA modified PRoCon version is malicious software, The same problem caused 7 PRoCon servers to crash.

I must say that we need the PRoCon development team to provide a Big5-encoded version, Because this is not my personal problem, There are quite a few servers in Asia that use this malicious software.

Currently used server:

http://battlelog.battlefield.com/bf4...0&vgmc-max=500

Excuse me, Can the PRoCon development team provide assistance?

If you are unable to use the current officially listed version of procon for any reason, there is not anything that can be done about it. Apologies.

EDIT: These forums themselves were actually set to go offline a couple months ago and we mods banded together to help the guy pay the bills to keep it online.

Thank you for your reply!

After that, My Procon server has been reset to the default procon_1.5.1.1 by i3D.NET several times.

I think i3D.NET no longer allows me to use [uEF] SpRos_CA version, Although I have found a friend in Taiwan who is willing to help me modify.

But he may need uncompiled code, How to get the original code, let he do follow-up development?

If the person you are in contact with has the knowledge to make the changes on his own, he will know what to do with that link.

  • Our picks

    • I wanted I let you know that I am starting to build out the foundation for the hosting services that I talked about here. The pricing model I was originally going for wasn't going to be suitable for how I want to build it. So instead I decided to offer each service as it's own product instead of a package deal. In the future, hopefully, I will be able to do this and offer discounts to those that choose it.

Here is how the pricing is laid out for each service as well as information about each. This is as of 7/12/2020.

Single MySQL database (up to 30 GB) is $10 USD per month.

If you go over the 30 GB usage for the database then each additional gigabyte is charged at $0.10 USD each billing cycle. If you're under 30GB you don't need to worry about this.

Databases are replicated across 3 zones (regions) for redundancy. One (1) on the east coast of the USA, One (1) in Frankfurt, and One (1) in Singapore. Depending on the demand, this would grow to more regions.

Databases will also be backed up daily and retained for 7 days.

Procon Layer will be $2 USD per month.

Each layer will only allow one (1) game server connection. The reason behind this is for performance.

Each layer will also come with all available plugins installed by default. This is to help facilitate faster deployments and get you up and running quickly.

Each layer will automatically restart if Procon crashes.

Each layer will also automatically restart daily at midnight to make sure it stays in tip-top shape.

Custom plugins can be installed by submitting a support ticket.

Battlefield Admin Control Panel (BFACP) will be $5 USD per month

As I am still working on building version 3 of the software, I will be installing the last version I did. Once I complete version 3 it will automatically be upgraded for you.

All these services will be managed by me so you don't have to worry about the technical side of things to get up and going.

If you would like to see how much it would cost for the services, I made a calculator that you can use. It can be found here https://ezrcon.com/calculator.html

    • I have pushed out a new minor release which updates the geodata pull (flags in the playerlisting). This should be way more accurate now. As always, please let me know if any problems show up.
