If you're connecting via "127.0.0.1" then you need to white list "127.0.0.1". The same goes for if you're trying to connect via the local ip, wan ip, or whatever. The problem you are having is related to the white list, so please double-check that your white list has the correct IP's in it.

 

This is actually a Procon 1 issue. It has already been brought up, and due to legacy issues, probably won't be fixed. However, I'll probably end up making a work around for it in the future. For now, try to get a different password ^^;.

No. Just try to match it as closely as possible, otherwise it may think a different (but similarly named) channel is the staging channel.

Your teamspeak name needs to closely match your in-game name. Also, if your names are very similar to each other, it may mis-match you. This is the only way to match people on the same IP with the current Procon Plugin API.

Sounds like a query ip whitelist issue. Double check the ip you put in the list (needs to be the Procon's ip). If you were never able to connect to the TS3 server (you never got the "Authenticated as xxxx" message) then make sure you're not temporarily banned for flooding the ts3 server (wait 5 minutes) and try again. If it works, your login information is correct, and you need to add the procon's ip to the query_ip_whitelist.txt. Respond back if you need any more help.

The same Staging channel should be ok. The sub-channels name's need to be different if you're using the same staging channel. I've seen it work with up to 6 servers at once, so I don't see why it shouldn't work for 8 - as long as you're running 8 different procons (of course)?

Interesting enough, for GameTracker TS3 Banners I used the Query port as the default 10011 but for this plugin to work I had to use 9100 in the settings? Don't ask me but it's working now.

Our guys felt that breaking down to squads was too much and at times we ended up with 1 person alone in a squad.

They felt it was better dividing the teams only.

The solution doesn't seem to work all the time - at least not to me. Sometimes the name-change doesn't work, or is only partially applied. I can only assume this is due to some server settings on the Teamspeak server. As for the ghosts showing up, that has to deal with how game tracker manages connections and how the plugin handles them as well. If more than 1 copy of the plugin is running, more than 1 client is going to appear. It's pretty late here, but the short of it is, the logins made by the plugin will linger until they time out, and the name change in 0.9.2 doesn't seem to work all the time. I hope you can shed more light on this so I can fix it.

After posting that suggestion I realized how bad it was. So I came up with a better solution:

Instead of using sendQuery you add the queries to a queue.

Then every tick it tries to execute one query from the queue. When a query is executed the time at which it was executed is added to another queue (queue2). If a query is executed or not depends on the size of queue2 (.count()) which has to be less than 10.

Every tick check the time of the first element in queue2(.peek()) and if it has expired (longer than 3 seconds ago) you dequeue it.

 

I don't know if there are ticks though so this whole thing could be useless.

I attached the file if you are interested since it does "work" aka won't crash the procon client (but I haven't tested it with a lot of people on teamspeak yet)

The code is probably messy though and you can do it better, but I just wanted to give it a whirl :smile:

 

Edit: Found some small hiccups, uploaded a fixed version... still testing.

In the second version I also changed Odin to TeamSync and removed the passwords

Since I have done that, my plugin did not work anymore.

I have delete all 3 files in the ProCon server, used another ProCon client... resintall the plugin, but it's still broken. I'm dispointed

 

As you can see on the picture, the people are all in the same chanel, and the log show people in Team. So a little help is weldone.

      Changes to US-East:

If you currently have servers in this location you will be migrated over to the new provider. We'll have more details when the time comes closer to January.       I wanted to give an update to how EZRCON is doing. As of today we have 56 active customers using the services offered. I'm glad its doing so well and it hasn't been 1 year yet. To those that have services with EZRCON, I hope the service is doing well and if not please let us know so that we can improve it where possible. We've done quite a few changes behind the scenes to improve the performance hopefully. 

      We'll be launching a new location for hosting procon layers in either Los Angeles, USA or Chicago, IL. Still being decided on where the placement should be but these two locations are not set in stone yet. We would like to get feedback on where we should have a new location for hosting the Procon Layers, which you can do by replying to this topic. A poll will be created where people can vote on which location they would like to see.

      We're also looking for some suggestions on what else you would like to see for hosting provider options. So please let us know your thoughts on this matter.

    • I wanted I let you know that I am starting to build out the foundation for the hosting services that I talked about here. The pricing model I was originally going for wasn't going to be suitable for how I want to build it. So instead I decided to offer each service as it's own product instead of a package deal. In the future, hopefully, I will be able to do this and offer discounts to those that choose it.

      Here is how the pricing is laid out for each service as well as information about each. This is as of 7/12/2020.

      Single MySQL database (up to 30 GB) is $10 USD per month.



      If you go over the 30 GB usage for the database then each additional gigabyte is charged at $0.10 USD each billing cycle. If you're under 30GB you don't need to worry about this.


      Databases are replicated across 3 zones (regions) for redundancy. One (1) on the east coast of the USA, One (1) in Frankfurt, and One (1) in Singapore. Depending on the demand, this would grow to more regions.


      Databases will also be backed up daily and retained for 7 days.




      Procon Layer will be $2 USD per month.


      Each layer will only allow one (1) game server connection. The reason behind this is for performance.


      Each layer will also come with all available plugins installed by default. This is to help facilitate faster deployments and get you up and running quickly.


      Each layer will automatically restart if Procon crashes. 


      Each layer will also automatically restart daily at midnight to make sure it stays in tip-top shape.


      Custom plugins can be installed by submitting a support ticket.




      Battlefield Admin Control Panel (BFACP) will be $5 USD per month


      As I am still working on building version 3 of the software, I will be installing the last version I did. Once I complete version 3 it will automatically be upgraded for you.





      All these services will be managed by me so you don't have to worry about the technical side of things to get up and going.

    • I have pushed out a new minor release which updates the geodata pull (flags in the playerlisting). This should be way more accurate now. As always, please let me know if any problems show up.
