im upgrading from 0.1.2 beta this version was stable from me. but then after i upgrade into this version, those errors occur.

 

UPDATE: I fixed it by adding my mysql account to ALTER permission on the DB.

Seems good. But still the !top10 randomwords bug still occurs. Procon client crashes when someone type !top10 randomwords(keywords that doesnt exist on the database e.g akdsfjlakjflkadjsfa) . Crashes to desktop with no errors and no debug logs. I posted this problem since 1.0.0.1 but noones seems to answer. :sad:

 

Version 0.1.2beta below doesnt have this problem.

UPDATE:!top10 weaponname doesn't crash the procon client (e.g !top G18). But if someone mistype the keyword G18 into G-18 the client hangs for a second then Crash to Desktop. Same as when someone types !top10 asdkjgalskdjgalksgja;lsgj(random words)

Unless you just fixed it, the dog tag stats find people the player has killed fine, but doesn't find people who has killed the player fine. It always says that 'Nobody has got your tags' while the database says that I have been knifed by 20 people.

The problem is that the plugin relies on procon. if the rcon protocol dont support utf-8 properly the plugin cant log them to db.

In short words plugin would support utf-8 if procon or the rcon protocol would do it.

 

But you could try it out create a db with utf-8 support and see whats happen.

Branzone allow full ftp access (the main .exe files are locked) but you can easily install your own plugins. The odbc driver is already setup and ready to go. Not sure about rcon hosting

but why error show 'user'@'my_procon_hosting_IP' when in plugin config I put external hosting IP where I have database...

 

why plugin gets procon hosting ip? why not that IP from config?

MySQL uses three things to check if you are allowed to connect to.

1. Username

2. Password

3. Your location (IP-Address or DNS Name)

 

The location is automatically the IP address of the proconhost.

So if your User and Password are correct, the allowed location IP is not added to the mysql Server.

This is reason why the connection is refused.

The plugin should point to the IP address where the database is being hosted - so it looks like you have that correct

 

One way to test you connection info to the database is to install the ODBC driver on your own computer and see it it will connect
