Do you use a hosted layer? If so, where is this layer located and what's the timezone?

You now should be able the set the correct timezone for Germany from within the plugin.

Just set "Use System/Layer server time zone" to "No" and select the correct Timezone.

Is it right that the UMManager takes the first map on the list matching the current situation?

I would like to have an possibility to my team mates to select a list at the end, normally not going automatic enabled.

(e.g. MapList n: has 0-64 Player, and 0-23:59h whole week, then list n+x will never be reached)

So I can configure some special Maplists (SqDM/ConquestLarge 1000tickes one map/....) they can select with a chat command.

Yes, it takes the first matching map list. That's why the plugin allows you to easily change the order of the map lists or disable them if you want to use others.

A chat command could be a bit complicated, but if it's just limited to lists that match, it may not be too difficult, since the list selection code wouldn't have to be overridden. I'll consider it.

Your layer server's system time is set to US Eastern Time Zone, so if you use the system time, that's what it will use. If you want it to use the Time Zone in Germany, you need to disable the system time and select your time zone from the list.

Sure, it would be ok if only maps can be selected that match...

Than I can add special MapLists with 2-64 Player on the end.

I think three commands would be enough:

@maplists //lists the list currently match

1. L1 xyxx

2. L4 kdifif

3. L5 dkfkjfkjf

@selectlist 1 //change to list 1 currently match on round end

@fselectlist 1 //(force) change immediately to list 1 (current....)

It's unrelated. I didn't alter the functionality of the plugin at all. All of the changes were directly related to the time zone stuff.

I want to have three stages on the maplist list and have the last maplist 3 on a clock timer so that it will only active at 5pmish onwards

override to lower maplist straight away 18

1= tdmd canals 600 tickets 0-19

2= Conq vanilla maps 500 tickets e.g. caspian 19-20

3= Conq vanilla maps and then add BTK maps on to it as well e.g. caspian + karkand 21-48

Will the above work? p/s I have a 48 player server

Also say that the player count falls to 20 or lower will it jump back to maplist 2 at the end on the round or will it go straight back to maplist 1? Because I want it to always jump back to maplist 1 TMDM if that possible then work it way back up to maplist three if it s 5pm onwards? Rather than moving down to map list 2 then again to TMDM if it drops lower than 19.

Hope that makes sense

Many Thanks

No, having map list 2 set to 19-20 is not a good idea, because it will almost never get played. You should set both map lists 2 and 3 to 21-48 players, then set the times you want for each list to be used, like 0:00-17:00 for 2 and 17:00-0:00 for 3, or whatever.

Your server had 0x0d 0x0 in the title, you may not see them as 0x0d 0x0a are invisible (carriage return, line feed) characters but they are there and shouldn't be.

Looks like server name change may well have happened at this time, which I believe broke player reporting so I'm not 100% sure without going through the logs line by line that all the players did drop.

It appears when the players dropped and it changed to my 2nd map rotation the server emptied.

Not sure why but its been happening almost every evening give or take an hour so I am starting to believe there maybe some kind of bug if you add a certain title?

Cheers

I suppose it's possible, but there's nothing I can do about it without logs. Try changing the title and see if that fixes it.

i'm not sure if the plugin does something that mimics a restart but i decided to use the plugin on the other server where i normally don't use it but with only one map list.. so basically its not using the plugin for what its intended for but just so that after a blaze, everyone still has their weps/unlocks.

make sense? anyone else notice this?

UMM doesn't really do anything other than change map lists, so perhaps when the server blazes, UMM switching back to the "empty" map list is what solves the problem. If so, setting it up with only one map list probably won't make a difference, since it won't make any changes when the server blazes. It will be interesting to know the results of your testing, though.

can i make another map list and maybe add an extra map so that its slightly different, but have the player slots min 0 max 64 for both lists? would that read it as a second list?

another quick question- for the time dependent option, if i wanted a certain map to start at 9 pm and end at 3 am, would it wait before the current round is over before this would kick in, regardless the number of players on at the time?

No, you would need to specify two different ranges of players in order for the plugin to actually do anything. If this does turn out to be something that solves your problem, I'd recommend creating a map list with min 0 max 0 and one map. This would be your "empty" map list, and whatever map you chose would always be the first map played. Once some players joined, the round would continue on that map, but as soon as the round ended, it would switch to your "normal" map list, which would be min 1 max 64.

If you do not enable the "Switch to new map list immediately" option, it will always wait until the current round ends before changing anything.

It's possible to change the number of ticket according to maps ?

Ex:

Map list 0 (0 at 16 player)

350 ticket, small CQ

100 ticket, TDM

Map list 1 (16 at 32)

600 ticket, Big CQ

150 ticket, TDM

150 ticket, Rush

Sorry i translate with a soft:/

Thx

I think it is good with:

vars.gameModeCounter xxx

parameters in the Custom Preset

  • Our picks

    • Game Server Hosting:

We're happy to announce that EZRCON will branch out into the game server provider scene. This is a big step for us so please having patience if something doesn't go right in this area. Now, what makes us different compared to other providers? Well, we're going with the idea of having a scaleable server hosting and providing more control in how you set up your server. For example, in Minecraft, you have the ability to control how many CPU cores you wish your server to have access to, how much RAM you want to use, how much disk space you want to use. This type of control can't be offered in a single service package so you're able to configure a custom package the way you want it.

You can see all the available games here. Currently, we have the following games available.

      Valheim (From $1.50 USD)

      Rust (From $3.20 USD)

      Minecraft (Basic) (From $4.00 USD)

Call of Duty 4X (From $7.00 USD)

      OpenTTD (From $4.00 USD)

      Squad (From $9.00 USD)

      Insurgency: Sandstorm (From $6.40 USD)

      Changes to US-East:

Starting in January 2022, we will be moving to a different provider that has better support, better infrastructure, and better connectivity. We've noticed that the connection/routes to this location are not ideal and it's been hard getting support to correct this. Our contract for our two servers ends in March/April respectively. If you currently have servers in this location you will be migrated over to the new provider. We'll have more details when the time comes closer to January. The new location for this change will be based out of Atlanta, GA. If you have any questions/concerns please open a ticket and we'll do our best to answer them.

    • Hello All,

I wanted to give an update to how EZRCON is doing. As of today we have 56 active customers using the services offered. I'm glad its doing so well and it hasn't been 1 year yet. To those that have services with EZRCON, I hope the service is doing well and if not please let us know so that we can improve it where possible. We've done quite a few changes behind the scenes to improve the performance hopefully.

We'll be launching a new location for hosting procon layers in either Los Angeles, USA or Chicago, IL. Still being decided on where the placement should be but these two locations are not set in stone yet. We would like to get feedback on where we should have a new location for hosting the Procon Layers, which you can do by replying to this topic. A poll will be created where people can vote on which location they would like to see.

We're also looking for some suggestions on what else you would like to see for hosting provider options. So please let us know your thoughts on this matter.

    • Added ability to disable the new API check for player country info

      Updated GeoIP database file

      Removed usage sending stats

      Added EZRCON ad banner

If you are upgrading then you may need to add these two lines to your existing installation in the file procon.cfg. To enable these options just change False to True.

      procon.private.options.UseGeoIpFileOnly False
      procon.private.options.BlockRssFeedNews False

    • I wanted I let you know that I am starting to build out the foundation for the hosting services that I talked about here. The pricing model I was originally going for wasn't going to be suitable for how I want to build it. So instead I decided to offer each service as it's own product instead of a package deal. In the future, hopefully, I will be able to do this and offer discounts to those that choose it.

Here is how the pricing is laid out for each service as well as information about each. This is as of 7/12/2020.

Single MySQL database (up to 30 GB) is $10 USD per month.

If you go over the 30 GB usage for the database then each additional gigabyte is charged at $0.10 USD each billing cycle. If you're under 30GB you don't need to worry about this.

Databases are replicated across 3 zones (regions) for redundancy. One (1) on the east coast of the USA, One (1) in Frankfurt, and One (1) in Singapore. Depending on the demand, this would grow to more regions.

Databases will also be backed up daily and retained for 7 days.

Procon Layer will be $2 USD per month.

Each layer will only allow one (1) game server connection. The reason behind this is for performance.

Each layer will also come with all available plugins installed by default. This is to help facilitate faster deployments and get you up and running quickly.

Each layer will automatically restart if Procon crashes.

Each layer will also automatically restart daily at midnight to make sure it stays in tip-top shape.

Custom plugins can be installed by submitting a support ticket.

Battlefield Admin Control Panel (BFACP) will be $5 USD per month

As I am still working on building version 3 of the software, I will be installing the last version I did. Once I complete version 3 it will automatically be upgraded for you.

All these services will be managed by me so you don't have to worry about the technical side of things to get up and going.

If you would like to see how much it would cost for the services, I made a calculator that you can use. It can be found here https://ezrcon.com/calculator.html

    • I have pushed out a new minor release which updates the geodata pull (flags in the playerlisting). This should be way more accurate now. As always, please let me know if any problems show up.
