It seems to be working. I do see some kicks, but it wasn't right away... maybe it just needed time. Server is 64 +2commanders. I enabled ping kick at 150 and it was instant kick, but I think I'll change it to the average ping. (TBH I didn't see the average one :P).

That's handled by the missing ping option. "Instant kick no ping_"

 

If you turn it on, those players will be kicked.

Ok noted and thanks but what causes that? Is this a good option to enable? I just don't want to boot folks necessarily.

server bugs, pings being blocked.. all sorts of reasons..

Hi Zaeed,

I sent you a small donation today. I was wondering if you could build in a time feature to the plugin? Essentially different rules for different times.

 

During my servers 'peak' hours, I would like to increase the ping limit so that the server stays populated. If I keep the ping limit to 150, then it will empty out for sure. If I allow pings up to 300, then I can get people in the server that will keep the server alive until the next day when I would limit the ping to 150 again at a certain time. I'll definitely donate again if you can build this into the tool!

Try stopping your layer, deleting any old instance of this plugin if you've had it in previously and also go into the appropriate config file and deleting any entries for this plugin, then finally restart the layer. Then if it's fine, then add the plugin to your BF4 dir, then restart the layer and see if all that helped.

 

 

 

For my own experiences, I've now moved my avg ping to 300 from 250 to be safe along with 20 to sample from and changed form 2-5 minimum pings before kick. l've also disabled the auto kick for no ping as I've seen many who read 65535 and then shortly afterwards go down to the mid 100's and likewise for latency spikes.

Hi Tangox, sure np, go into your configs folder under procon and open up the appropriate config file that's numbered by the server IP, then edit out the plugin info.
