Do you mean you changed the text of message to be displayed on a kick/ban, but your changes are gone after restarting procon?

It would be nice to know if you have the plugin running on a layer server or only locally.

If it is running on a layer server make sure to change the settings on the "Parent Layer Control" - "plugins" tab.

Thanks!

2nd: this Plugin doesn't care about the admins in procon - it only checks if a player is on that admin list array. Edit it by clicking the button with the 3 dots ( ... ) on the right of the line!

Depending on the changefrequency of your admins it might get nasty to keep that array up to date. The Plugin "Rulz" provides all of this Plugins features and reads the admin status directly from accounts and reserved slot list. Get it -->> here: www.phogue.net/forumvb/showth....-weapon-limit*

This is not true.

The "AdminIn & Spawn Message" plugin can check the admin privilege of an account in procon.

Please see the Description -> Settings -> Check admin privileges.

Enabled or disables to check if a joining player is on the account list and

has the right to do temp. bans. Therefor he is treaded as admin.

"Account list" means the account list of accounts defined in procon.

If this option AND the plugins admin list is filled, both is checked.

To add a player to the plugins admin list you have to enter him with his

ingame name without any clantag.

Jip. It is on its way.

But expect a few more days than the weekend.

And yes.. it is working as long as you do not set it to yell the messages.

I've updated the plug-in to be BF3 compatible.

To install simply search for it on the procon startpage packages tab by entering its name or bf3 into the search field.

After triggering the install you need to restart your procon.

I've downloaded this new version and installed on our BF3 servers. It shows up and can be configured but I dont actually see any in game announcements? No kicks or bans are automatically announced.

I'll investigate further tomorrow if i get chance but is any one else having a similar issue?

I rechecked with my installs, local and hosted, both do what they should do.

Make sure you haven't set any message to be yelled. With BF3 the spawn message is useless as you can not send individual messages therefor it gets deactivated.

I will release an update to the plug-in which targets hosted installations because some popup info windows are useless on layer installed plugins. That can be a source of wrong settings...

Remember, you have to ways to define who is admin and should be announced. Both conclude to a combined list.

First way:

- Add all admins into the plug-ins "Admin list" with their correct spellt in-game names without clantag

- Names are case sensitiv!

Second way:

- select "check admin privileges"

With the second way the plugin checks if a joining player is on the procon account list AND has the permission to do a temporary ban. If that is true it will take him as admin and announce him. The temp ban privilege is the lowest privilege a user/account must have to be seen as admin by the plugin.

If it is not working for you please report with the following:

- layer based or local?

- Version of Procon ( local & layer)

- Version of plug-in

- game it is used for

- complete list of settings done in the plugin

- in-game name not recogniced

- related name in Accounts and/or the Admin list

- debug output of the plugin related to a join of the player in question

It might take some time until the package tab shows version 1.2.0.1.
