Kinsman, I see that your code is obviously modified. For instance, notice that the page compilation compute time displayed at the bottom of the page is:

This means that the top of the file is modified and who knows what else. Why not try uploading the file I am providing you with only the modifications I documented, and see if it works properly on its own.

Notepad++ is what myself and hundreds of thousands of others would recommend.

 

I mean opposed to the default windows notepad.

Makes me wonder if they are under a heavier load because PBBans is still down as a result of a DDoS attack.

1) I don't think there are a very large number of people using my page. When I do a referring site report, I only see 15 sites reporting from player_stats.php.

2) GGC-Stream released this API to be used for this purpose and this API of theirs has built in flood protection to cut down on excessive use.

3) I got approval to use this API.

4) I am sure they are getting at least 100 times more network traffic to game servers enforcing bans.

You named the table procon? You mean you named the database procon, or you added a table prefix of procon? You will have to look in your database for your table names. I didn't make this code to have the option of adding a table prefix to each table; so I would have to update the code if you are using table prefixes. There should be no reason for you to use table prefixes though. I assume you meant that you named the database procon.

I've never tried to host files from my own computer. I have always used paid hosts and not had similar issues. I assume your router is not allowing the connection, but I can't help you much more than that without the necessary experience.

And no its not on my PC, Procon with the stats pluggin is running on my Windows VPS (virtual server) and also mysql is running there too... This stats script is hosted on my websites hosting but the 2 wont connect it seems.....

I actually added privileges for my webhosting server to access my VPS MySQL database too... See this...

So my webhost is server01.myhost.co.uk, the user there is kkclan. Why is it saying that kkclan access denied @ local host?

 

Also it says that procon_stats which is the MySQL database user for the stats is denied access to my webhost ? Almost as if its getting confused because the script is on 1 server and the database on another ? Should that not be the other way around ? myhost.co.uk should be contacting procon_stats surely ?

You haven't provided enough information yet for me to understand what the values should be.

 

The host should be server01.myhost.co.uk, right?

The user name is procon_stats?

The password is a password.

What is the db name?

 

Don't mix up the difference between a db name and a user name.
