I can add a write to console option if you want. The reason I didn't is that I thought it might get a bit spammy.

At the moment you can watch the console with events and debugging on and keep an eye out for the admin messages to come up.. Or just jump in a server and test it.

If you go to the chat tab, and yell test, go to the Console tab, and you should see something along the lines of procon.admin.yell test 6000 all Messages from the warning plugin will appear in a similar fashion.

 

Make sure you have output enabled, and events and debug enabled

 

I'll add in some basic plugin console code on the next release so that you can check if its working.

Yeah i know i can see those, but messages sent by plugins aren't visible which means i won't be able to see your plugins messages either..

Hmm thats odd, since I can see them when I have it going. Are people actually violating any of the warnings?

Hmmm, if you're able to, remote to the layer host and check if its working there, sometimes it needs a bit of a jump start. I haven't tested it too much over a layer yet, but I've noticed its been a bit temperamental, so I'll take a look at it once I get the Rush mode out of the way.

The kill command won't add a death to the tally, thats not how the command works.

 

As for the kick issue, i'll look into it

Yeah I get the same as well. I just set a number of warnings(4 in total, 2 zone ones and 2 command driven).

I haven't set the zone names to any of the zones yet so can't comment of them but then I set a 'warn' and a 'slap' warnings.

I was testing tonight and the 'warn' warning will not output a warning message regardless if it's a yell, private or public. It does however kill after the nth warning message. But it won't kick me. It does yell the message but no kicking at all.

 

However the 'slap' message works a treat. The message gets outputted on the screen. I've been slapped so many times it's not funny anymore :tongue:.

 

Then I created a new warning that was similar to 'slap' that it didn't do any killing or kicking and the settings were exactly the same as the previous warning and it did not output any messages.

 

All the warning commands were registered with procon as I had enabled the basic in game info and after doing a @help in the chat I could see the the warning commands.

 

I also run procon via a layer server.

 

Hopefully tomorrow I can do some testing on my local procon and set the warning commands as the same as the layer server and see if the messages get outputted. Will keep you posted.

Check boxes aren't possible sorry. I'm working on a way to make it possible to select multiple options, I'll let you know how I go.

Or disable the use of enemy vehicle with kill command.

Can't do that sorry, the only time that location data is given is when someone dies. And you can't tell when someone gets into a vehicle, except of course if they make a kill using it.

Please add the option: Disable weapon to all map.

E.g.:valparaiso Rush map: when RUS defender solider kill somebody with M3A3 Bradley (US Armor) take warning, kill, kick, ban

Atacama Desert Conquest when US solider kill somebody with MI-28 Havoc (RUS Chopper) take wrning, kill, kick, ban

Seems a little harsh don't you think? What about on maps like panama where vehicles spawn on the map and not in the uncap?

LOL, I have two servers, and i play a game about two minutes on Panama Chanal CQ...

I didn't know the vehicle spawn out of uncap. Sorry.

      Changes to US-East:

      Starting in January 2022, we will be moving to a different provider that has better support, better infrastructure, and better connectivity. We've noticed that the connection/routes to this location are not ideal and it's been hard getting support to correct this. Our contract for our two servers ends in March/April respectively. If you currently have servers in this location you will be migrated over to the new provider. We'll have more details when the time comes closer to January. The new location for this change will be based out of Atlanta, GA. If you have any questions/concerns please open a ticket and we'll do our best to answer them.

      I wanted to give an update to how EZRCON is doing. As of today we have 56 active customers using the services offered. I'm glad its doing so well and it hasn't been 1 year yet. To those that have services with EZRCON, I hope the service is doing well and if not please let us know so that we can improve it where possible. We've done quite a few changes behind the scenes to improve the performance hopefully. 

      We'll be launching a new location for hosting procon layers in either Los Angeles, USA or Chicago, IL. Still being decided on where the placement should be but these two locations are not set in stone yet. We would like to get feedback on where we should have a new location for hosting the Procon Layers, which you can do by replying to this topic. A poll will be created where people can vote on which location they would like to see.

      We're also looking for some suggestions on what else you would like to see for hosting provider options. So please let us know your thoughts on this matter.

    • I wanted I let you know that I am starting to build out the foundation for the hosting services that I talked about here. The pricing model I was originally going for wasn't going to be suitable for how I want to build it. So instead I decided to offer each service as it's own product instead of a package deal. In the future, hopefully, I will be able to do this and offer discounts to those that choose it.

      Here is how the pricing is laid out for each service as well as information about each. This is as of 7/12/2020.

      Single MySQL database (up to 30 GB) is $10 USD per month.



      If you go over the 30 GB usage for the database then each additional gigabyte is charged at $0.10 USD each billing cycle. If you're under 30GB you don't need to worry about this.


      Databases are replicated across 3 zones (regions) for redundancy. One (1) on the east coast of the USA, One (1) in Frankfurt, and One (1) in Singapore. Depending on the demand, this would grow to more regions.


      Databases will also be backed up daily and retained for 7 days.




      Procon Layer will be $2 USD per month.


      Each layer will only allow one (1) game server connection. The reason behind this is for performance.


      Each layer will also come with all available plugins installed by default. This is to help facilitate faster deployments and get you up and running quickly.


      Each layer will automatically restart if Procon crashes. 


      Each layer will also automatically restart daily at midnight to make sure it stays in tip-top shape.


      Custom plugins can be installed by submitting a support ticket.




      Battlefield Admin Control Panel (BFACP) will be $5 USD per month


      As I am still working on building version 3 of the software, I will be installing the last version I did. Once I complete version 3 it will automatically be upgraded for you.





      All these services will be managed by me so you don't have to worry about the technical side of things to get up and going.

    • I have pushed out a new minor release which updates the geodata pull (flags in the playerlisting). This should be way more accurate now. As always, please let me know if any problems show up.
