They'll be in the BC2 folder.

I need to update the package to include BF3.

Open procon. go to packages tab, find it there

this plugin was working great for a couple of days. Now it's not sharing banlists any more.

Im using procon 1.1.1.1 - running on a WinXP x86 host.

Tried restart of procon, but to no help. We have three servers connected on procon - all BF3.

Code:

Console log:
[18:30:19 95] Global Banlist: File read error2 System.IO.IOException: The process cannot access the file 'D:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Desktop\Server\procon_0.6.3.0\Plugins\Banlists\195.122.135.137-Bans.txt' because it is being used by another process.

Edit:

uh, okay - now that I actually look at the code, I can see that the plugin is trying to access (D:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Desktop\Server\procon_0.6.3 .0\Plugins\Banlists\) which is not valid at all. Trying to fix this myself, and posting an update when it's okay if anyone else should run into this.

Edit2:

re-installed it from packages and its now working again - however, I found another problem that I can't solve. It only shares players that are banned by SOLDIER-NAME. If I ban someone by PB-GUID (which we allways do), its not being shared! Anyone else getting this problem?

We have two servers, on the same IP-address, but they run on different ports. So I changed the code a bit to avoid this error.

We now have filenames with the gameport in it, to make the file unique (--bans.txt). But I do not know if the author is interested in the fix (which is quite easy though). If the author is interested, I have published the entire code (including the fix) here: http://pastebin.com/Crqt14BT

That was my original idea, then Metabans came along, which really negated the point of shifting it online.

Metabans requires everything to be streamed through them, which really isn't bad for a simple community based solution. Just offering a SQL based ban list would be much nicer and offer more flexibility. I'll keep an eye out, thanks.

If you have some clowns have been banned for an hour, and the time has finished ( chat filter ban) if you restart procon then they all get banned again from sharedban list.

You can see my profile trough my GUID ab5cbbe55d907fd5f7b7d4ad2bf731b3 is Clean.

If a admin of any server with this plugin, just ban me because he don't like me my GUID is added to all servers list?

Best Regards and thanks on advance for your attention.

For example if I banned you from server 1 for base-raping, using this plugin would ban you from server 2 as well.

This plugin uses Local Ban Lists, not anti-cheat lists like PBBans, PsB or GGC.

You just can't play on those specific servers that the admin has banned you from.

Ok check that, it seems to work now for all 3 of my servers but it's only showing EA GUID bans? Why is that? I have a boatload of PB GUID bans also.

Update, I uninstalled it by just deleting the plugin and it's .dll, restarted procon but it still shows as installed in "packages", what gives?
