Instructions

 

Step 1: Set the number of chat triggers you want to configure.

 

Step 2: Configure the triggers!

Chat trigger: - Sets the chat trigger to match. Ex.: @rules

Send to all? - Set to On to output to everyone, or Off to output to only the person who triggered.

Yell output? - Set to On to admin.yell the Output text, or Off to admin.say it.

Delay before sending output: - Seconds after a trigger to wait before sending the Output text. Ex.: 1

How long to show yelled output: - Seconds to display each yelled Output text. Ex.: 8

Delay between each line of output: - Seconds to wait between sending each line of Output text. Ex.: 1

Output text: - The lines of text sent when the Chat Trigger is matched. Ex.: No hacks allowed!

 

Step 3: Profit!

Got a question though:

Is it possible to say or yell it to all players?

 

example:

player x says: again 40MMGL spam

Server says to all players as warning: Do not spam with 40MMGL! You will be kicked.

I edited some of the code to make it possible, but it would be great if you could make it an option per trigger.

I would test this myself, but I don't own a copy of MoH! There are a few annoying differences between BFBC2 and MoH, and your problem might be the effect of one of them. Please let me know if this yields the desired effect. This plugin is due for a small update anyhow. (:

At the moment I have 6 lines of text that are triggerred by the command "@rules" and they appear all at once.

I'd like them to appear with a 6 second delay between each line.

 

I have tried putting in 6000 but it didn't work.

The easy one, the one with the work around is this.

We have have 7 lines to display for rules. If those are the only 7 lines then for whatever reason the last line never disappears it just stays on the screen until the round ends no matter what the display time is.

If there is another trigger set that only has 1 line then it will show and go away. I haven't tried any other number of lines between 1 and 7 to find the fewest number of lines before it won't stay on the screen.

The fix was to add a blank line after the last line so it looks like there is an 8th line.

 

The other more serious problem is the time it really shows on the screen.

We found that if we set the display time to anything more than 999 the display time double for each line after the 2nd.

So for example the display time is 1000, lines 1 and 2 are 1 second display but line 3 is 2 seconds, 4 is 4 seconds, and so on.

We originally had it set for 5000/5seconds which resulted in the 7th line being up for about 1-2minutes

is anyone else having the same issue or can you point me to something else that will do the same job as i need this working

Just change to plugin loading style Procon uses.

If you see the release notes to 1.4.0.1 you'll find the command to be placed into the procon.cfg or you can switch that using the options dialog on the "Advanced" tab.

    • I wanted I let you know that I am starting to build out the foundation for the hosting services that I talked about here. The pricing model I was originally going for wasn't going to be suitable for how I want to build it. So instead I decided to offer each service as it's own product instead of a package deal. In the future, hopefully, I will be able to do this and offer discounts to those that choose it.

      Here is how the pricing is laid out for each service as well as information about each. This is as of 7/12/2020.

      Single MySQL database (up to 30 GB) is $10 USD per month.



      If you go over the 30 GB usage for the database then each additional gigabyte is charged at $0.10 USD each billing cycle. If you're under 30GB you don't need to worry about this.


      Databases are replicated across 3 zones (regions) for redundancy. One (1) on the east coast of the USA, One (1) in Frankfurt, and One (1) in Singapore. Depending on the demand, this would grow to more regions.


      Databases will also be backed up daily and retained for 7 days.




      Procon Layer will be $2 USD per month.


      Each layer will only allow one (1) game server connection. The reason behind this is for performance.


      Each layer will also come with all available plugins installed by default. This is to help facilitate faster deployments and get you up and running quickly.


      Each layer will automatically restart if Procon crashes. 


      Each layer will also automatically restart daily at midnight to make sure it stays in tip-top shape.


      Custom plugins can be installed by submitting a support ticket.




      Battlefield Admin Control Panel (BFACP) will be $5 USD per month


      As I am still working on building version 3 of the software, I will be installing the last version I did. Once I complete version 3 it will automatically be upgraded for you.





      All these services will be managed by me so you don't have to worry about the technical side of things to get up and going.
