Advanced In-Game Admin and Ban Enforcer - AdKats

If you've been banned from a server then you will need to appeal the ban with the owners/community of that server. We do not control any bans done on servers that utilize AdKats as all bans are local to that server.

There is no !warn command in AdKats. Please specify which command you are referring to.

 

If it is the punish command, please update to the latest test version.

There is no way of doing an online cheat detect right now. I think there are other plugins that can handle that.

 

If you want something like that included, please either link or reference an IL script or other plugin that does this task and i'll work on it from there.

 

Please post the logs for that error. We are using the latest version on our servers and not seeing this issue. The ban enforcement and issue code has not been changed in months.

Please read the command list, it is linked in the first post on this thread.

 

If you don't notice any issues, you can stay on that version. However updating to the latest test version is advisable.

AdKats nukes happen instantly when the command is issued. There is a countdown command being added that does countdowns externally, but nukes are issued automatically in Adkats for some cases and thus do not have a timer or countdown.

 

I haven't heard any complaints before about lack of a timer, but someone did request an external timer command, so that can be used for it once complete.

I think you need to allow this application in your security settings for that Gmail account. Make sure it is in the list.

It may seem expensive :ohmy:.. (for me its way too expensive) but the advantage over what Proconrulz is able to do .. you just cant even begin to imagine :ohmy:

Proconrulz does the job.. but people break the rules all the time and it pisses other people off.. when you use CCCs plugin (if im right on how it works).. you dont get the option to break the rules at all.. you just are not allowed to spawn till your loadout is accepted.. and all the other options you can do.. (if i have it right).. want to run a Sniper only server with no scopes.. you should be able to :ohmy:.. ProconRulz CANNOT see attachments.. this plugin can :ohmy:

 

btw CCC.. i looked at the load out pages myself... gah that weapon numbering system looks like a pain in the @$#%... maybe one day i'll bother to decode it.. or maybe look at the js files n see if i can find them there :P

Yes, youre right but $50 to restrict weapons on spawn is a little heavy..

This is for sure an advantage between ProconRulz and this plugin for AdKats but.. :/

Proconrulz is doing its job and most people playing by the rules.

I never saw a person who ragequitted because of a kill by a forbidden weapon.

The "Killer" get warned and will be kicked after 3 kills with that weapon for free.

 

I going to stick with that configuration at the moment.

Maybe there will be an adjustment of the price and then i am going to think about this again but i can see your point here.

Correct on all accounts. For many people the simple autoadmin is fine, this is the next level. There is a reason I have the price set higher, or any price at all for that matter, I don't want this thing spreading quickly. If it gets into many people's hands too quickly, people who are careless, there is a larger chance for it to be flagged as abuse. It's amazing to work with, and I don't want to see it ruined.

It is, the loadout enforcer is about 3000 lines of code, and a good portion of it is to ensure correct parsing. Small compared to AdKats 30000 lines, but still decent.

Yes, you can add them an specify a seperate role for these players.

For example copy the Default Guest role and add the !join command for that new rule.

Yeah, i already have a reserved slot role from the old system, so it's just a matter of making a script to sync between the two db tables i guess. :smile:

I'll bring the price down if their plugin becomes a serious issue. They only handle about 1/50th what this plugin does. Grenade slots and gadgets only, with limited options.

It's not about the cost, I can drop that at any time...I am trying to prevent this from spreading like wildfire without control.

 

If this gets flagged abusive by DICE it will be pulled immediately, and now that a free version is out there, although extremely limited in comparison, it's about to catch their eye. If this does get flagged, that dev will be singlehandedly responsible for ruining one of the best things available to BF4 servers.

      Changes to US-East:

      I wanted to give an update to how EZRCON is doing. As of today we have 56 active customers using the services offered. I'm glad its doing so well and it hasn't been 1 year yet. To those that have services with EZRCON, I hope the service is doing well and if not please let us know so that we can improve it where possible. We've done quite a few changes behind the scenes to improve the performance hopefully. 

      We'll be launching a new location for hosting procon layers in either Los Angeles, USA or Chicago, IL. Still being decided on where the placement should be but these two locations are not set in stone yet. We would like to get feedback on where we should have a new location for hosting the Procon Layers, which you can do by replying to this topic. A poll will be created where people can vote on which location they would like to see.

      We're also looking for some suggestions on what else you would like to see for hosting provider options. So please let us know your thoughts on this matter.

    • I wanted I let you know that I am starting to build out the foundation for the hosting services that I talked about here. The pricing model I was originally going for wasn't going to be suitable for how I want to build it. So instead I decided to offer each service as it's own product instead of a package deal. In the future, hopefully, I will be able to do this and offer discounts to those that choose it.

      Here is how the pricing is laid out for each service as well as information about each. This is as of 7/12/2020.

      Single MySQL database (up to 30 GB) is $10 USD per month.



      If you go over the 30 GB usage for the database then each additional gigabyte is charged at $0.10 USD each billing cycle. If you're under 30GB you don't need to worry about this.


      Databases are replicated across 3 zones (regions) for redundancy. One (1) on the east coast of the USA, One (1) in Frankfurt, and One (1) in Singapore. Depending on the demand, this would grow to more regions.


      Databases will also be backed up daily and retained for 7 days.




      Procon Layer will be $2 USD per month.


      Each layer will only allow one (1) game server connection. The reason behind this is for performance.


      Each layer will also come with all available plugins installed by default. This is to help facilitate faster deployments and get you up and running quickly.


      Each layer will automatically restart if Procon crashes. 


      Each layer will also automatically restart daily at midnight to make sure it stays in tip-top shape.


      Custom plugins can be installed by submitting a support ticket.




      Battlefield Admin Control Panel (BFACP) will be $5 USD per month


      As I am still working on building version 3 of the software, I will be installing the last version I did. Once I complete version 3 it will automatically be upgraded for you.





      All these services will be managed by me so you don't have to worry about the technical side of things to get up and going.
