Advanced In-Game Admin and Ban Enforcer - AdKats

If you've been banned from a server then you will need to appeal the ban with the owners/community of that server. We do not control any bans done on servers that utilize AdKats as all bans are local to that server.

Minimum ticket count is the minimum number of tickets both teams must have for the auto action to fire. So in your case both teams must have more than 45 tickets left, and both teams must have less 400 tickets left.

 

Nothing else was changed for the auto nuke settings publicly, and seeing it work on other servers after the update I don't believe it's broken.

 

Are you still seeing these issues after setting your min/max ticket windows correctly?

I don't know where i can start exactly, but your are right, few messages are interesting. Primarily i mean globalchat/privatchat messages. I get so many AdKats messages that i can't look away for 5 minutes to miss a user chatmessage. The same problem with AdKatsLRT, when anyone spawn 7-8 times with a forbidden weapon, then the chat is already full with warningmessages.

 

with a 64 slot server it is partly a nightmare :ohmy:

Can´t you just uncheck everything except "scrolling" in the ProCon chat section?

i can but the procon chat has no unlimited space. a new message needs 1-2 minutes until it disappears.

To get these functions do not work and are not taken into account (Minimum ticket count is the minimum number of tickets), you can set these values to 0? I do not care how many tickets one, the main thing that has always been a nuke when all flags collected

Try setting minimum tickets to 1 and maximum tickets to some huge number like 99999. How many tickets is your server?

You are trying to run the new stat logger on an old stat logger database, and they do not work that way.

 

Versions 1.1.0.1 and 1.0.0.2 are different plugins, and 1.0.0.2 is actually newer than 1.1.0.1.

 

If you want to keep your 1.1.0.1 database you will need to stay with that version of stat logger. I have not tested its compatibility with AdKats in quite some time, since almost everyone has moved to 1.0.0.2.

Take some time to monitor the current chat tab and compile a list of message types you want to disable. I can add settings to turn off displaying them there.

I've been reluctant over the years to modify that !admin command to work without a player name, but I think this might be the time to do it.

 

The problem is so many people will just !admin somedude is breaking rules

instead of just using the report command. I guess that can be handled on a case by case basis.

 

Please open a ticket for it so I don't forget and i'll look at adding it for 6.9.0.0

We use GameMe for that, the database does have session information but it's less accurate by what i've seen.

Lol, people will always find a way to cheat the system if a loophole exists. Open a ticket for it and i'll patch it.

Your other roles are marked as admin. Don't include admin commands on roles you don't want to be considered admin. It will tell you which commands are considered admin commands.

 

EDIT: That is how AdKats determines who is considered 'Admin', whether they have access to any admin commands. That spectating message is sent to all admins.

      I wanted to give an update to how EZRCON is doing. As of today we have 56 active customers using the services offered. I'm glad its doing so well and it hasn't been 1 year yet. To those that have services with EZRCON, I hope the service is doing well and if not please let us know so that we can improve it where possible. We've done quite a few changes behind the scenes to improve the performance hopefully. 

      We'll be launching a new location for hosting procon layers in either Los Angeles, USA or Chicago, IL. Still being decided on where the placement should be but these two locations are not set in stone yet. We would like to get feedback on where we should have a new location for hosting the Procon Layers, which you can do by replying to this topic. A poll will be created where people can vote on which location they would like to see.

      We're also looking for some suggestions on what else you would like to see for hosting provider options. So please let us know your thoughts on this matter.

    • I wanted I let you know that I am starting to build out the foundation for the hosting services that I talked about here. The pricing model I was originally going for wasn't going to be suitable for how I want to build it. So instead I decided to offer each service as it's own product instead of a package deal. In the future, hopefully, I will be able to do this and offer discounts to those that choose it.

      Here is how the pricing is laid out for each service as well as information about each. This is as of 7/12/2020.

      Single MySQL database (up to 30 GB) is $10 USD per month.



      If you go over the 30 GB usage for the database then each additional gigabyte is charged at $0.10 USD each billing cycle. If you're under 30GB you don't need to worry about this.


      Databases are replicated across 3 zones (regions) for redundancy. One (1) on the east coast of the USA, One (1) in Frankfurt, and One (1) in Singapore. Depending on the demand, this would grow to more regions.


      Databases will also be backed up daily and retained for 7 days.




      Procon Layer will be $2 USD per month.


      Each layer will only allow one (1) game server connection. The reason behind this is for performance.


      Each layer will also come with all available plugins installed by default. This is to help facilitate faster deployments and get you up and running quickly.


      Each layer will automatically restart if Procon crashes. 


      Each layer will also automatically restart daily at midnight to make sure it stays in tip-top shape.


      Custom plugins can be installed by submitting a support ticket.




      Battlefield Admin Control Panel (BFACP) will be $5 USD per month


      As I am still working on building version 3 of the software, I will be installing the last version I did. Once I complete version 3 it will automatically be upgraded for you.





      All these services will be managed by me so you don't have to worry about the technical side of things to get up and going.
