Advanced In-Game Admin and Ban Enforcer - AdKats

If you've been banned from a server then you will need to appeal the ban with the owners/community of that server. We do not control any bans done on servers that utilize AdKats as all bans are local to that server.

So, you don't like seeing the "x requested rules" messages?

 

You didn't show AdKats' response to them though. It will be in your procon chat logs, not db.

Is this what your requesting?

Yeah, it will tell admins when someone requests rules, but it doesn't spam the whole server, or tell admins the rules either.

Those are statlogger errors, not from AdKats.

Make sure Adkats is disabled, restart Procon and then enable Adkats. It should fix it.

Don't log anything using procon, I'd be forever cleaning out log files that I generally don't look at.

 

AdKats is responding to them in-game as I see it myself, I figured it was intentional that you see it as a logged in admin, never used to do it but it sure does now.

We tested out what you said that only the admins would see the rules list. This is not true. Everyone who is in the server is seeing the rules list when a player types @rules.

 

Is there a possible setting that I need to make in AdKats so only the player who type @rules sees it?

 

I enjoy your program and want to thank you for your efforts. I am just trying to figure this out and it can be frustrating for a player to continually spam the rules list just to be a little ass in the server.

Ok, have procon open when this happens, in the procon chat tab it shows every response and message sent from AdKats, and who it sent them to. If yours is malfunctioning, i need to see that log.

That is why i need the procon chat tab logs, it shows the responses.

 

When an admin requests @rules, the whole server sees it. When a non-admin requests rules, only they see it. So maybe you've given your default guest role access to an admin command? Look it over in the role settings section, does your default guest role in that section have an '[A]' in front of it on each line?

I need to do fuzzy name match because people make spelling mistakes, and players have names like iLiililLLiiii. However, i do keep players in cache if they leave the server during the current instance. This means until you restart your procon layer you can act on anyone who's been in the server during that time.

"Hacking/Cheating - AutoTrigger -" is not in any of the default messages for those bans. Please show the full reason logged in the database for them. It shows what weapon it was for, and why it chose that weapon.

Quick question though, what is Ping Whitelist Player? (pwhitelist command) Is there a built in ping kicker that I'm missing, or what is this command for? Seems to be new to this version, but can't find any documentation for it.

 

Also this maybe have been in previous versions but I never noticed it. What will setting "Feed Stat Logger Settings" to true under orchestration do?

1. That command and its linked system is for ADK only right now, i'll be hiding the command in the full release. Please use latency manager for ping management.

2. Docs for orchestration feed are in the user manual.

Below are the text logs that you requested. And yes, the default guest role has a [A] in front of it on each line of the differnent Guest roles. Again here is a sample to the text logs when everyone sees the server rules:

Your guest role is considered admin...you've given it access to an admin command.

 

You know what, so many people have accidentally done this i'm gonna block ability to add admin commands to the guest role. I'll have the update ready soon.

Report IDs only last for that specific round. If they lasted longer i would need way more than 3 digits for the report ID; We are about to cross 2 million admin records in our current DB.

      Changes to US-East:

      Starting in January 2022, we will be moving to a different provider that has better support, better infrastructure, and better connectivity. If you currently have servers in this location you will be migrated over to the new provider. We'll have more details when the time comes closer to January.       I wanted to give an update to how EZRCON is doing. As of today we have 56 active customers using the services offered. I'm glad its doing so well and it hasn't been 1 year yet. To those that have services with EZRCON, I hope the service is doing well and if not please let us know so that we can improve it where possible. We've done quite a few changes behind the scenes to improve the performance hopefully. 

      We'll be launching a new location for hosting procon layers in either Los Angeles, USA or Chicago, IL. Still being decided on where the placement should be but these two locations are not set in stone yet. We would like to get feedback on where we should have a new location for hosting the Procon Layers, which you can do by replying to this topic. A poll will be created where people can vote on which location they would like to see.

      We're also looking for some suggestions on what else you would like to see for hosting provider options. So please let us know your thoughts on this matter.

    • I wanted I let you know that I am starting to build out the foundation for the hosting services that I talked about here. The pricing model I was originally going for wasn't going to be suitable for how I want to build it. So instead I decided to offer each service as it's own product instead of a package deal. In the future, hopefully, I will be able to do this and offer discounts to those that choose it.

      Here is how the pricing is laid out for each service as well as information about each. This is as of 7/12/2020.

      Single MySQL database (up to 30 GB) is $10 USD per month.



      If you go over the 30 GB usage for the database then each additional gigabyte is charged at $0.10 USD each billing cycle. If you're under 30GB you don't need to worry about this.


      Databases are replicated across 3 zones (regions) for redundancy. One (1) on the east coast of the USA, One (1) in Frankfurt, and One (1) in Singapore. Depending on the demand, this would grow to more regions.


      Databases will also be backed up daily and retained for 7 days.




      Procon Layer will be $2 USD per month.


      Each layer will only allow one (1) game server connection. The reason behind this is for performance.


      Each layer will also come with all available plugins installed by default. This is to help facilitate faster deployments and get you up and running quickly.


      Each layer will automatically restart if Procon crashes. 


      Each layer will also automatically restart daily at midnight to make sure it stays in tip-top shape.


      Custom plugins can be installed by submitting a support ticket.




      Battlefield Admin Control Panel (BFACP) will be $5 USD per month


      As I am still working on building version 3 of the software, I will be installing the last version I did. Once I complete version 3 it will automatically be upgraded for you.





      All these services will be managed by me so you don't have to worry about the technical side of things to get up and going.

    • I have pushed out a new minor release which updates the geodata pull (flags in the playerlisting). This should be way more accurate now. As always, please let me know if any problems show up.
