Please take care. There are two diffrent autobalancers. One is my autobalancer which is anouncing any balancing what is done by my plugin. Then there is the integrated autobalancer from the game itself, programmed by Dice. This autobalancer will switch players, who dies first. My Whitelist has no impact on the ingame autobalancer.

 

HELP FOR MY TRUEBALANCER:

I have checked this function once more in MoH with 5 Clanmates. It worked perfectly.

 

you need to enter one name per line.

The list needs to look like:

NAME1

NAME2

WAANABE3

..

..

..

 

Please enable the DebugMode.Look at the players list which is appearing every 20-30seconds.

 

you will see something like:

You see a format of:

y needs to have the value "-1" if the player is on the Whitelist

Lets make NAME1 and NAME2 VIPs from the above example:

It is up to you if you want to disable the ingame autobalancer. I didn't for the reason, because if you disable it, players will be able to switch to the otherside if the teams are even.

making for example 10vs10 to a 9 vs 11. Thats the reason i am keeping the ingame balancer on. but you could turn it off, to prevent palyers getting switched by the ingame balancer.

As i can see, only Olagcollossov is on the Whitelist.

 

What are your settings. You can see in the code you postet above that the autobalancer starts the timer but never enteres it. It looks like the Time between Warnings is set to a huge number

How many warnings:? (1)

Time between warning in second:? (5)

i will change that part to a procon integrated timer function. at the moment i am using a windows timer.

maybe after that, it will work better.

Hey, i am sorry, i haven't thought about that before, that ppl would run the server in such a kind of mixed mode.

Ok, keep your eyes open for an update today. Gonna make the plugin work for squad rush.

The only mode which will not be supportet will be sqaud deathmach.

Hello All, I appreciate any help you can give me:

 

Primary Target is hosting my procon and I have tried everything to install this plugin for the procon layer but it just won't show up. When you click on the blue house and install the plugin from there it works but not on the layer. When I install the files thru TCADMIN you can't see the plugin on the layer. I installed the 4 files in plugins/MOH. By the way the package install includes a DLL file that the zip file in the first post does not is that a problem?

 

Anyone who has installed this plugin on a hosted solution can you tell me how you got it to show up on the layer?

Download the zip from the first page.

If you want it to run copy all files in "plugins" to the "Plugins" folder of PRoCon. Also the not needed files for BC2.

There is also a file called "TrueBalancer.inc" within "plugins". This is the major code of TrueBalancer.

 

If you only copy out the 4 Files for MoH it will not work. You need to copy the 5th file called "TrueBalancer.inc" in "plugins" to the "Plugins"-folder of PRoCon.

 

As I said above. Copy ALL files from the extracted "plugins" folder to the "Plugins"-folder of PRoCon. Even if you don't use BC2, copy those files too.

I even tried to run my desktop procon, and then upload a copy of the .dll into the parent layer version and it just disappears if i restart the parent layer.

 

I have a feeling it may have something to do with the fact that PT does not give us full access.

Thanks a bunch for making the plugin work with squadrush. It seems to be working fine. One thing though, when it switches a player, it doesn't automatically put them in a squad. The reason this is important is, in 4v4 squad rush there is no option to join a squad when you join a server because you are automatically put in one. After Truebalancer switches a player, they are left outside a squad. Now, the person can open the menu and select to join the squad, but for some reason most players can't figure this out.. lol. They find they aren't spawning on their teammates and just leave the server. If this is something that would be easy to fix I would be very grateful. If not, I do appreciate your efforts in making a fantastic plugin. It works superbly when the server goes to normal rush.

The in game admin uses a similar method to find out the default squad id used from gamemode to gamemode.

 

You can use something similar to this to get whatever the default squad id is for the map being played. It's generally 0 for all gametypes but in sqrush it's 1.

      Changes to US-East:

      Starting in January 2022, we will be moving to a different provider that has better support, better infrastructure, and better connectivity. We've noticed that the connection/routes to this location are not ideal and it's been hard getting support to correct this. Our contract for our two servers ends in March/April respectively. If you currently have servers in this location you will be migrated over to the new provider. We'll have more details when the time comes closer to January. The new location for this change will be based out of Atlanta, GA. If you have any questions/concerns please open a ticket and we'll do our best to answer them.

      I wanted to give an update to how EZRCON is doing. As of today we have 56 active customers using the services offered. I'm glad its doing so well and it hasn't been 1 year yet. To those that have services with EZRCON, I hope the service is doing well and if not please let us know so that we can improve it where possible. We've done quite a few changes behind the scenes to improve the performance hopefully. 

      We'll be launching a new location for hosting procon layers in either Los Angeles, USA or Chicago, IL. Still being decided on where the placement should be but these two locations are not set in stone yet. We would like to get feedback on where we should have a new location for hosting the Procon Layers, which you can do by replying to this topic. A poll will be created where people can vote on which location they would like to see.

      We're also looking for some suggestions on what else you would like to see for hosting provider options. So please let us know your thoughts on this matter.

    • I wanted I let you know that I am starting to build out the foundation for the hosting services that I talked about here. The pricing model I was originally going for wasn't going to be suitable for how I want to build it. So instead I decided to offer each service as it's own product instead of a package deal. In the future, hopefully, I will be able to do this and offer discounts to those that choose it.

      Here is how the pricing is laid out for each service as well as information about each. This is as of 7/12/2020.

      Single MySQL database (up to 30 GB) is $10 USD per month.



      If you go over the 30 GB usage for the database then each additional gigabyte is charged at $0.10 USD each billing cycle. If you're under 30GB you don't need to worry about this.


      Databases are replicated across 3 zones (regions) for redundancy. One (1) on the east coast of the USA, One (1) in Frankfurt, and One (1) in Singapore. Depending on the demand, this would grow to more regions.


      Databases will also be backed up daily and retained for 7 days.




      Procon Layer will be $2 USD per month.


      Each layer will only allow one (1) game server connection. The reason behind this is for performance.


      Each layer will also come with all available plugins installed by default. This is to help facilitate faster deployments and get you up and running quickly.


      Each layer will automatically restart if Procon crashes. 


      Each layer will also automatically restart daily at midnight to make sure it stays in tip-top shape.


      Custom plugins can be installed by submitting a support ticket.




      Battlefield Admin Control Panel (BFACP) will be $5 USD per month


      As I am still working on building version 3 of the software, I will be installing the last version I did. Once I complete version 3 it will automatically be upgraded for you.





      All these services will be managed by me so you don't have to worry about the technical side of things to get up and going.
