If you have the option to have settings for each map, check you saved settings list. You either have commander to true or have set 2 slots reserved for spectators

Do you have this setting in your startup.txt file in the actual server files: vars.maxPlayers 32 ( what ever your server size is)

 

I notice if you don't have that and enable some plugins with maps that are suitable for less players it switches to the recommended player size of that map. Just a thought.

BF3 does not support spectator mode as far i know.

well, de server setings are 16 slots.

the plugin changed it on the fly.

dont ask me how it works, i only use it mostly for limiting the player count if our litle club wants to have a private shootout.

as far i can see, i can set de max player set for almost each map mode.

dunno if it co-operates with UMM to set various player counts,never tweaked it.

you need to edit the custom profiles with the propper setings for that. ,you can find them in the config generator section

i made several maplists, normal, tdm, rush, ctf, dom and scav ,with its map, it switches only to the maplist if all other maplists are turned off

I have one request for this plugin, can you make an option to force the correction of the game preset (normal, hard, infantry) if it isn't what it should be? Basically:

1) Set the preset

2) Restart the round

3) Have a customizable limit to the amount of restarts before it gives up

 

I really need this since when one of my servers restarts, it sets itself to custom. When setting the preset to normal in this plugin, after two rounds the server registers to normal (better than nothing that's for sure), but I'd like it to happen right when the server restarts.

Ok I figured out what's wrong. When you set map specific presets, even if switch to new map list immediately is enabled, it acts like it's disabled, and waits for the round to end before changing the maps. It'd be great if it could detect that the preset is incorrect, or maplist is incorrect (with presets enabled) and switch it immediately.

Guilin Peaks = normal

Shanghai = normal

Lumphini Garden = Infantry Only

 

The problem is when Guilin is played as normal and Lumphini is selected, Lumphini starts as normal. Only after reboot the map is Lumphini as Infantry Only. The same happens also backwards. If you play a map on Infantry Only and a map to be played as normal, it starts as Infantry Only.

 

Can someone help me?

v2 maps have the same map name but different game mode.

I have the same problem if the server is empty and the round starts the plugin is loading the preset for the next map instead the current that is reloading. I also searched the thread but those questions stayed unanswered.

 

It works only fine if the amount of players are above 4 and map for map are loading or the next map has the same custom-preset.

I have the same problem, though it only happens when i add a 3rd map list, it goes blank, if there is just 2 maps list its ok, in my case, its a conquest large map list, the 1st list has 10 maps and the 2nd list 33 maps, if i add another one, it goes blank.

 

I guess the guy who made this plugin is gone: "Last Activity 15-10-2017 20:58 "

I'm still around, but no longer have the means to work on this plugin. Also, the issue you are experiencing is likely due to a limit in the size of the configuration options allowed in the software. There's nothing that can be changed in the plugin to prevent this, aside from removing some options, I guess.

If you currently have servers in this location you will be migrated over to the new provider. We'll have more details when the time comes closer to January.       I wanted to give an update to how EZRCON is doing. As of today we have 56 active customers using the services offered. I'm glad its doing so well and it hasn't been 1 year yet. To those that have services with EZRCON, I hope the service is doing well and if not please let us know so that we can improve it where possible. We've done quite a few changes behind the scenes to improve the performance hopefully. 

      We'll be launching a new location for hosting procon layers in either Los Angeles, USA or Chicago, IL. Still being decided on where the placement should be but these two locations are not set in stone yet. We would like to get feedback on where we should have a new location for hosting the Procon Layers, which you can do by replying to this topic. A poll will be created where people can vote on which location they would like to see.

      We're also looking for some suggestions on what else you would like to see for hosting provider options. So please let us know your thoughts on this matter.

    • I wanted I let you know that I am starting to build out the foundation for the hosting services that I talked about here. The pricing model I was originally going for wasn't going to be suitable for how I want to build it. So instead I decided to offer each service as it's own product instead of a package deal. In the future, hopefully, I will be able to do this and offer discounts to those that choose it.

      Here is how the pricing is laid out for each service as well as information about each. This is as of 7/12/2020.

      Single MySQL database (up to 30 GB) is $10 USD per month.



      If you go over the 30 GB usage for the database then each additional gigabyte is charged at $0.10 USD each billing cycle. If you're under 30GB you don't need to worry about this.


      Databases are replicated across 3 zones (regions) for redundancy. One (1) on the east coast of the USA, One (1) in Frankfurt, and One (1) in Singapore. Depending on the demand, this would grow to more regions.


      Databases will also be backed up daily and retained for 7 days.




      Procon Layer will be $2 USD per month.


      Each layer will only allow one (1) game server connection. The reason behind this is for performance.


      Each layer will also come with all available plugins installed by default. This is to help facilitate faster deployments and get you up and running quickly.


      Each layer will automatically restart if Procon crashes. 


      Each layer will also automatically restart daily at midnight to make sure it stays in tip-top shape.


      Custom plugins can be installed by submitting a support ticket.




      Battlefield Admin Control Panel (BFACP) will be $5 USD per month


      As I am still working on building version 3 of the software, I will be installing the last version I did. Once I complete version 3 it will automatically be upgraded for you.





      All these services will be managed by me so you don't have to worry about the technical side of things to get up and going.

    • I have pushed out a new minor release which updates the geodata pull (flags in the playerlisting). This should be way more accurate now. As always, please let me know if any problems show up.
