  • NEW: Live Check: CheatDetector will now monitor the players on your server for headshots per kills and kills per minute. Cheating is considered >91% HS/K or >8 KPM with more than 20 kills. A check is made every 5 minutes. Whitelist and messages apply here too. (0. Ban Method and Whitelist and BattlelogCache -> Enable Live Check)
  • NEW: Stream Players to 247FairPlay.com: If enabled CheatDetector will contact http://www.247fairplay.com/cheatdetector.php every 30 minutes to add the players on your server to a database (the plugin will not be blocked by this and errors (for example: you cant reach 247fairplay.com) wont show up in the log. its "fire and forget"). This DB will be used to do stats checks and various other checks. If a cheater is detected, he will be banned through the MetaBans Account @CheatDetector (http://metabans.com/CheatDetector).
  • FIX: Stats Check: Weapons with more headshots than kills (except shotguns, rockets and the like) and more than 20 kills will be treated as IMPOSSIBLE (=cheating).
  • NEW: Settings: Enable Live Check.
  • NEW: Settings: Enable Stats Check.
  • NEW: Settings: Stream Players to 247FairPlay.com
  • NEW: Settings: Exclude Non-ReservedSlots/ServerVIPs: will automatically remove players from the plugins whitelist that are not in your ReservedSlots List
  • FIX: Several internal code improvements.

Please let me know what you think about the new features and CheatDetector's operation in general

Awesome work my friend Grizzly.

I want to let you know that CD has caught and banned over 340 cheaters on my servers to date, only a couple of them have disputed their ban or filed any kind of ban appeal (Edit: these two disputes/appeals actually occurred after this last CD update).

It is rare that our admins have to worry about cheaters, and the only ones that ever get thru are those with not enough stats to be analyzed (e.g. new accounts with less than 130 kills for weapons).

I hope we'll have this for BF4 too as they are already preparing BF4 hacks based off of the BF4 alpha with expected refinement when the BF4 beta is released.

See this for an example: http://www.ilikecheats.com/_news=bat...cks-and-cheats

"We got our hands on a copy of the Battlefield 4 Alpha Trial and we are currently making the first ever hack for BF4! We have 6 days left and about 50 hours of testing with the developers before they shut the alpha down. The great news is we will also get access to the Battlefield 4 beta later for even more testing. That means when the game is released you will have hacks ready to use to help you rank up fast and unlock all your weapons. Nothing is better than standing all the way across the map and sniping someone with a headshot using our aimbot."

I can't wait to try out your new version.

Thanks again!

I've seen 2-5 CD "live protection" bans so far on our 5 servers and they have all been valid upon manual inspection (really dodgy weapon stats). Takes a load of work off from us admins as we don't have to spot and analyze these kind of "players" anymore! Great work!

Hikkorom SV98 hs/k: 112,08% 240 kills / 269 headshots

Markisha G3A4 hs/k: 129,63% 27 kills / 35 headshots

Manny-Ribera1 M4A1 hs/k: 110,1% 425 / 250 headhots currently

The weird thing is that all of these players claim to have "never cheated".

- Hikkorom says that he has no clue why he has such a high headshot/kill percentage, he says he has never cheated before and that it must be a bug in the statistics engine of Battlelog.

- Markisha got banned for a weapon with which he only has 27 kills (see ban reason). Settings are set to the default 130 kills per weapon for analysis. Additionally, he has a few other weapons with more kills than headshots.

- Also, Manny-Ribera1 who got banned for m4a1 weapon stats, has now recently played normally again with that weapon. Headshot kill ratio is decreasing. However, with the PKP Pecheneg he has 6 kills but 58 headshots? How can that be possible? It sounds like a bug in the Battlelog Statistics Engine. Or what is going on with some of these odd weapon stats?

I've noticed this too. One bullet, double headshot maybe? A good sniper can repeat that easily in a game.

I'm just running it in logging mode only - no kicks/bans, until I manually check the player. Been running this plugin since the 9th and this is what it has said is impossible stats and declared a rating of 99%.

The bold ones are the ones that I agree with that, they are definitely cheating. Bear in mind that I haven't done an in-depth review of all of them. Some of them I have managed to find conclusive proof, as seen with .

seeing the plugin on your servers really puts it to a test :-)

Hey Grizzly,

Lately I've noticed a few odd things with certain players and specifically their weapon stats. Take these players from today who got banned by CD:

Hikkorom SV98 hs/k: 112,08% 240 kills / 269 headshots

i couldnt find anything more suspicious than the stats you mentioned.

the last update changed the detection, that weapons with more headshots than kills (except for the unreliable like shotguns,...) are treated as suspicous from 20 kills on (not 130 like the usual)

this change should make the detection more accurate, however if we can confirm that there is some kind of bug, i would change it again

I've noticed this too. One bullet, double headshot maybe? A good sniper can repeat that easily in a game.

yes but like ike mentioned some time ago: 1 bullet, double headshot would still be 1 shot, 2 hits, 2 headshots, 2 kills

i dont see any good explanation for having more hs than kills especially with bolt action sniper rifles (min damage 50 * 2.4 hs multiplier should always be a kill)

i would like to learn some of your experience with detecting cheaters, so look out for messages coming your way :-)

I'm just running it in logging mode only - no kicks/bans, until I manually check the player. Been running this plugin since the 9th and this is what it has said is impossible stats and declared a rating of 99%.

yes i lowered this to 30 for weapons with more headshots than kills, however i can change it back if this raises too many concernes with being inaccurate.

I'm not sure how players like Manny-Ribera1[/b]]Manny-Ribera1 achieve 6 kills but 58 headshots (HKP of 996) with the PKP Pecheneg for example. I just can't wrap my head around how that is possible in BF3. I don't know if this is a bug in the Battlelog Statistics Engine itself or a new kind of cheat. In any case, I haven't come across this kind of problems in the last months/years. It just doesn't make sense. What do you think? Bug or cheat, CD will keep on banning these players. Would like to just know if they are valid and/or what kind of cheat they are using.

im not sure either.

looking at stats like here http://bf3stats.com/stats_pc/mUrkaSi...y,global.kills

entry from 2012-04-13 05:11

87 kills 149 deaths

151 hs

yet he gets +858 skill

the next entry, which is better looking at the kd (74k/93d) he gets -1057 skill

Don't we have a Battlelog Dev on these forums? Perhaps we can ask him to clarify?

that would be awesome

i look into some bans and players and post a quick update tomorrow that will go back to min kills around 100 even for weapons with more hs than kills. guess thats best

note that i did not get alot of false bans or something but the sooner we spot it the better :-)

Remember, with over 300 Cheat Detector bans on my servers, I did not have anyone dispute their ban or file a ban appeal until this last update that changed the minimum kills from 130 to 30 (after the update I had two dispute/appeal their bans).

We can't ignore our knowledge that hacks exist with the ability to configure whether they make kills with headshots or not, and we certainly know there are hacks with the ability to fire invisible bullets (or no bullets at all) and get kills from across the map (see videos on page 18 of this thread). What happens when one of these hacks is configured to cause headshots without firing bullets? Will that type of configuration cause headshots to exceed kills when kills aren't counted because a bullet wasn't fired?

Blaze (and what we show) is entirely dictated by what the game server's end of round report sends out, we don't do any further calculations or anything other than display it.

I don't know why people would have more HS than Kills, sounds rather weird and suspicious, I'll ask some of the game devs what they think

One of these players stated that their "BF3 account had been hacked & cheated on" after which the accounts were returned to the player in question & restored by the EA/DICE." I thought it might be a stat key issue too, but these are stats directly from Battelog itself - links below lead directly to weapons stats for each player.

If they were hacking, you'd expect to see an insane KPM for each weapon. But the KPMs look distinctly average.

Edit: Regarding Battlereport/server/player IDs and such, if you could PM them to me, that'd be greatly appreciated

I've struggled to find any Battlereport that exhibits this behaviour.

Another separate issue I would like to raise is a glitch with accuracy in the battlereport(s):-

Two of the entries look like what we would consider the "real" stats. So the question is, what is the weird one about? And why is that the one that's getting picked up by our plugins, instead of either of the other two?

Ok. It looks like my search wrapped, so there are really only two entries, the 58/6 one in mainWeaponStats and the 63/217 one in compareWeaponStats.

EDIT: LOL, the 63/217 is my stat (PapaCharlieNiner), so it's just like you said, I'm accidentally comparing my stats to our test subject, Manny-Ribera1.

First of all, it is very hard to get more details from players who have been banned by this plugin mainly because we do not know them personally (hence, we can't trust them face-value). Also, often we can't see the battlelog reports because they are using Battlelog privacy settings. Some of them are too p* off to even communicate and instantly start flaming.

Secondly, most of these players seem suspicious in their appeal messages and the weapon stats analysis of these players has become troublesome (more headshots than kills). Another factor to consider is the level of english that some of these players have which is so minimal that they don't understand what is happening at all and just repeat "unban me". Most of the time its like talking to a brick wall. Thats why I first posted here to figure out what is going on as I have no clue about these weird weapon stats either.

One of the players (igoriev) I managed to talk to said that he did play on hardcore servers:

http://battlelog.battlefield.com/bf3.183424144/pc/

319 kills / 319 headshots.

Curiously, all his other weapon stats seem normal?

Exerpt from his ban appeal:

However, your M39 weapon stats are highly suspicious (319 kills / 319 headshots). These kind of stats are deemed as "impossible weapon stats" by the CheatDetector plugin. I believe you are running the risk of getting banned on hundreds of servers that run this plugin (including our servers). This means that the plugin will ban you everytime again until those weapon stats are at a normal level.

I am aware of that but it's not my fault that battlelog did some bug mistake and I've got this silly stats. After getting banned previous I played on some HC TDM server with M39 to understate that false headshot percentage. So now I must play some time with M39 to get more kills without headshots?

Exerpt from Manny-Ribera1: (PKP Pecheneg 6 kills / 58 headshots but got banned for M4A1 more headshots than kills; at the time about 340 headshots/300 kills)

i got banned on your Servers cauze suspectet cheating 110%hsk m4a1 , i checked my stats and i saw more headshots than kills i dont know why, can u check my stats aggain i never cheated . i haave played now with the gun to get more kills without headshots

my bf 3 Name is manny-ribera1

Markisha: another victim of this problem posted:

Thanks.

First of all, I got reset my stats from battlelog month ago caused by some hackers. Battlelog retrieved back successfully massive number of accounts two days after attack.

After that issue, sometimes when I check my stats (better battlelog extension installed in chrome browser), it shows that my kdr is 1, spm is 1, w/l ratio is 1, and so on... I got pisses everytime, and after restart of browsee it shows correct stats. Maybe anticheat tool is directly in conflict with that battlelog bug?

I play bf since 2005, and I NEVER CHEATED, GLITCHED or whatsoever...

p.s. I know that this is just your word vs. my (our - looks I'm not the only one) word but don't forget about us, bf veterans affected by this battlelog's bug...

Nice work, installed this update on all my 5 layers. Thankfully this will decrease the amount of bans CD will issue. Now it will only ban those players who have over 130 kills and more headshots. However, I'm guessing the problem with having more headshots than kills hasn't been identified yet?

Below you'll see examples of headshots/kills (or hs/k) bans performed by Cheat Detector on one of my hardcore servers. For convenience, I have provided the appropriate battlelog and CoM links for reference (to see a summary of all weapons activity and the cheat-o-meter assessment for same).

Some seem to be anomalies as reported to battlelog (example 1 shown in orange below). However, most of the bans for headshots exceeding kills are obviously correct (examples 2 thru 4 shown in red below).

I had one player named CJloHo6OuKO appeal his ban to me in my forum (my first Cheat Detector ban appeal), and while I can't ever be positive the person on the other end is not lying, this guy was exceptionally convincing, respectful, and sincere. His battlelog stats for SV98 showed him with a hs/k of 303.03% (100 headshots but only 33 kills). I asked him to normalize this weapon and once I confirmed he had done that, I removed his ban. Everything else looked clean with him, except the SV98 headshots before he normalized them.

Hope this helps.

  • Our picks

    • Game Server Hosting:

We're happy to announce that EZRCON will branch out into the game server provider scene. This is a big step for us so please having patience if something doesn't go right in this area. Now, what makes us different compared to other providers? Well, we're going with the idea of having a scaleable server hosting and providing more control in how you set up your server. For example, in Minecraft, you have the ability to control how many CPU cores you wish your server to have access to, how much RAM you want to use, how much disk space you want to use. This type of control can't be offered in a single service package so you're able to configure a custom package the way you want it.

You can see all the available games here. Currently, we have the following games available.

      Valheim (From $1.50 USD)

      Rust (From $3.20 USD)

      Minecraft (Basic) (From $4.00 USD)

Call of Duty 4X (From $7.00 USD)

      OpenTTD (From $4.00 USD)

      Squad (From $9.00 USD)

      Insurgency: Sandstorm (From $6.40 USD)

      Changes to US-East:

Starting in January 2022, we will be moving to a different provider that has better support, better infrastructure, and better connectivity. We've noticed that the connection/routes to this location are not ideal and it's been hard getting support to correct this. Our contract for our two servers ends in March/April respectively. If you currently have servers in this location you will be migrated over to the new provider. We'll have more details when the time comes closer to January. The new location for this change will be based out of Atlanta, GA. If you have any questions/concerns please open a ticket and we'll do our best to answer them.

    • Hello All,

I wanted to give an update to how EZRCON is doing. As of today we have 56 active customers using the services offered. I'm glad its doing so well and it hasn't been 1 year yet. To those that have services with EZRCON, I hope the service is doing well and if not please let us know so that we can improve it where possible. We've done quite a few changes behind the scenes to improve the performance hopefully.

We'll be launching a new location for hosting procon layers in either Los Angeles, USA or Chicago, IL. Still being decided on where the placement should be but these two locations are not set in stone yet. We would like to get feedback on where we should have a new location for hosting the Procon Layers, which you can do by replying to this topic. A poll will be created where people can vote on which location they would like to see.

We're also looking for some suggestions on what else you would like to see for hosting provider options. So please let us know your thoughts on this matter.

    • Added ability to disable the new API check for player country info

      Updated GeoIP database file

      Removed usage sending stats

      Added EZRCON ad banner

If you are upgrading then you may need to add these two lines to your existing installation in the file procon.cfg. To enable these options just change False to True.

      procon.private.options.UseGeoIpFileOnly False
      procon.private.options.BlockRssFeedNews False

    • I wanted I let you know that I am starting to build out the foundation for the hosting services that I talked about here. The pricing model I was originally going for wasn't going to be suitable for how I want to build it. So instead I decided to offer each service as it's own product instead of a package deal. In the future, hopefully, I will be able to do this and offer discounts to those that choose it.

Here is how the pricing is laid out for each service as well as information about each. This is as of 7/12/2020.

Single MySQL database (up to 30 GB) is $10 USD per month.

If you go over the 30 GB usage for the database then each additional gigabyte is charged at $0.10 USD each billing cycle. If you're under 30GB you don't need to worry about this.

Databases are replicated across 3 zones (regions) for redundancy. One (1) on the east coast of the USA, One (1) in Frankfurt, and One (1) in Singapore. Depending on the demand, this would grow to more regions.

Databases will also be backed up daily and retained for 7 days.

Procon Layer will be $2 USD per month.

Each layer will only allow one (1) game server connection. The reason behind this is for performance.

Each layer will also come with all available plugins installed by default. This is to help facilitate faster deployments and get you up and running quickly.

Each layer will automatically restart if Procon crashes.

Each layer will also automatically restart daily at midnight to make sure it stays in tip-top shape.

Custom plugins can be installed by submitting a support ticket.

Battlefield Admin Control Panel (BFACP) will be $5 USD per month

As I am still working on building version 3 of the software, I will be installing the last version I did. Once I complete version 3 it will automatically be upgraded for you.

All these services will be managed by me so you don't have to worry about the technical side of things to get up and going.

If you would like to see how much it would cost for the services, I made a calculator that you can use. It can be found here https://ezrcon.com/calculator.html

    • I have pushed out a new minor release which updates the geodata pull (flags in the playerlisting). This should be way more accurate now. As always, please let me know if any problems show up.
