But if it waits 5 Sec then there are time to read the yell warning message before the kill is executed.

I would normally take this seriously, but I think I've done enough for you the last few days. You obviously don't like my plugin anyways and since I do this on a voluntary basis I don't have to make it suit you.

 

I still want to clarify that I really doubt that my plugin can crash procon. The only way to crash Procon as far as I know is to have it raise an exception within an execution thread you created on your very own. So the Enforcer should just write down that something went wrong and then it continues working (Have not experienced this in a very long time).

 

Either way I cannot help you since I don't know the tiniest bit about your configuration. Even if I knew that I doubt that I can fix this for you since you didn't post an error message aswell.

An update is coming somewhere between today and the day after tomorrow. I want to see if I can reproduce the bugreport of _gp? for BF3 at first.

So you really just have added the Language Enforcer?

Maybe some plugin did an Update on its own. AdKats for instance does so but that is a bad example for it is very robust.

 

I'll add some more error handling. Maybe it helps.

That's bad. Must be some very strange coinidence. Any ideas what causes it?

Do you have the dev version installed? Can you PM me your config file?

 

If it helps: there are currently following procon events subscribed:

Procon Login: to trigger an update check if it is enabled

List Players: to get player GUIDs

Player joined: check if the new player has admin rights

Player killed: to get player GUIDs and for latent kills

Player spawned: for latent kills

Round over: for latent kills

Player left: reset latent kill for the player

On chat: should be clear why I use this event ^^

Pukbuster player info: Get PB GUID and player's country

Here is a short explaination how to use localization:

So let's say we want to greet back our players in their specific language and we have a section named 'hello'.

The last line defines a Message, that will be displayed to all other countries.

To be exact it will be displayed to players who are not from the UK, not from the US and so on.

This can also be used for kick and ban reason statements. The plugin will just pick the first line that fits.

 

As this might end up in unreadable message configurations (especially if you want to display e.g. rules): You can use non-existant country codes aswell to form blank lines as shown here. No player will see the blank message.

Not really, other than operator error on my part.

 

Other then trying to change 2.6 measure end to a permban, when my procon crashed with a white screen.

All I did is delete the .dll for LanguageEnforcer and restarted procon layer. I have just left the 2.6 setting alone and all is fine.

Questions: Looking at the plugin settings, I've noticed it does a hierarchy based punishments (w/Adkats or without) regardless of the severity of the bad language.

I.E. If I want to insta-ban someone for racism, it wont happen, because the hierarchy doesn't know what is severe.

 

Also, the plugin doesnt show me category 6

I think I figured it out... I like how the settings are organized :smile:

Category 6 will only show if you have a wordlist section defined.

If you e.g. write {racism} on top of racist words in the wordlist everything below {racism} will be captured by the racism section in category 6.

I can implement that, but isn't the cooldown logic enough? Either way you will have to wait for that feature.

Sorry I would have to be really bored to implemement that. It is a fundamental change since I would need to write down each and every section somebody ever has triggered to find the worst triggered section.

There is a problem though, that I have encountered even on the other bad language detection plugins.

 

Someone in the server says this:

so many n**** these days. Quit cheating you fucking losers

Censored for possible sensitive people

 

The plugin chooses to punish for the word "fuck" but leaves the "n-word" undetected...

How can I switch the order or the importance of detecting a word over the other?

      Changes to US-East:

      I wanted to give an update to how EZRCON is doing. As of today we have 56 active customers using the services offered. I'm glad its doing so well and it hasn't been 1 year yet. To those that have services with EZRCON, I hope the service is doing well and if not please let us know so that we can improve it where possible. We've done quite a few changes behind the scenes to improve the performance hopefully. 

      We'll be launching a new location for hosting procon layers in either Los Angeles, USA or Chicago, IL. Still being decided on where the placement should be but these two locations are not set in stone yet. We would like to get feedback on where we should have a new location for hosting the Procon Layers, which you can do by replying to this topic. A poll will be created where people can vote on which location they would like to see.

      We're also looking for some suggestions on what else you would like to see for hosting provider options. So please let us know your thoughts on this matter.
