Advanced In-Game Admin and Ban Enforcer - AdKats

If you've been banned from a server then you will need to appeal the ban with the owners/community of that server. We do not control any bans done on servers that utilize AdKats as all bans are local to that server.

That debug message is showing a flag count, and you said 4 flags, so i'm assuming this is operation locker conquest. Simply turn on the optimal values for locker conquest. If this does not suit your needs let me know.

Discovered tonight the ping enforcer was non-functional on BF3, so as of 6.8.0.3 this should no longer be the case. Please confirm the issue has been fixed.

How many slots is your server?

What are your low/high population values set to?

How long have you been running this?

Admins do not see reputation changes in chat, but they still happen.

So, right, the only thing changed between 6.8 and 6.8.0.3 was the ping enforcer, which I just confirmed is working perfectly fine.

 

The whole thing doesn't just magically break because the version number went up.

 

"alot of thing doesn't work anymore for me" does not help me locate your issue. What appears to be broken?

 

Auto-updates are probably because you are running LRT.

P.S optimal values for locker conquest so slow!

Triggers fire every 10 seconds when both the winning team and losing team are in their respective windows. So 6 triggers means 60 seconds with both teams in their windows before the auto-nuke or auto-surrender fires.

 

One team owning 4 flags on lockers conquest (up by 3 flags vs the opposing team) is around -40 adjusted tickets/minute, while the winning team has around 0 adjusted tickets/minute. So for the windows I would suggest the following:

 

Winning team min: -5

Winning team max: 100

Losing team min: -100

Losing team max: -36

Triggers: 5

Reset on cancel: true

If you are running conquest or any mode that has tickets counting down to zero due to capture points (conquest, domination, chain link, etc...) use the adjusted rates. Tickets in those modes change by more things than just captured flags, for example a ticket is also removed for each player spawn. Adjusted gets rid of the noise so we can focus on the flags, otherwise the values are all over the place and never consistent.

This is already the case. People don't get automatic updates unless they elected to get them. You are running LRT, so you elected to get them. When you are running LRT updates are required because those two plugins interact with each other and may require updates on both platforms.

 

6.8.0.3 does not have MySQL issues per the 24+ servers currently running that version, including our own 7 servers. Sounds like something happened with your DB, not an issue with the plugin, and it subsided by the time you switched back to 6.8. No database or related changes were made between those versions, the only thing modified was the ping enforcer.

Yes, it works fine now but there's still a problem with populators and the Latency Whitelist. I forgot to mention it in my first post (but you can see it there in the screenshot) - We have Populator Perks enabled on our server, populators receive a reserved slot, are added to the Multibalancer Whitelist but don't get ping-whitelisted although this perk is enabled as well. We would appreciate it if you could take a look into this - your account on our layer is still available.

It was still whitelisting the players just not displaying the whitelist in the verbose listing; fixed the display. Also found out both the regular special player lists and verbose lists were not sorted by player name; fixed that too.

This is a known issue for players who have recently changed their names, you won't find that name on battlelog. Looking for a way to mitigate it.

If you are using the full AdKats plugin yes you can do this. When you run LRT with AdKats integration then LRT can use 2 levels of enforcement. C4 can be put on trigger enforce only instead of spawn enforce for everyone, then you can activate that trigger using the AdKats /mark command from your script.

This is great news. I have set C4 to: Allow on Spawn, and Deny on Trigger in AdKatsLRT. And I have been looking for examples of using the Akats/mark command in a script, but I haven't had any luck yet. If you have time, how would I add the mark command to the line below? Thanks in Advance!

Just make it issue an admin say "/mark playername". It will be hidden, and will be acted on by AdKats unless you disallowed commands via admin say.
