If you've been banned from a server then you will need to appeal the ban with the owners/community of that server. We do not control any bans done on servers that utilize AdKats as all bans are local to that server.

LOL. just lol. this has nothing to do with your procon version. The connection from your server to github fails. This is neither related to the plugin nor to procon.

In USER SETTINGS tab add soldier (nickname from game) to your USR1 .

i m on version 6.9.0.3

We are getting this same error now. Just with a different playername, it keeps spamming in the log. I know it it suppose to be fixed in previous patches, any other way to go around it?

It's not AdKat's database. It is the XpKiller plugin stats database which AdKats is using.

I logged into phpmyadmin and followed the instructions, but when I restart the layer, it automatically adds a new server...up to number 6 now since I deleted the new server a couple of times. I get the message "No stats are available yet. Please wait one round." Is there something that I am missing? Looking though the database, all of the stats are still there. Will the stats show up when the next round ends (server is empty right now)?

look (in the database ) for your old server. (make sure procon is shut down) copy your new server ip and port. paste the new server ip into your old server. delete your new server from the database. restart procon and all should work just tickaty boo

AdKats requires the same database as XPKillers is on. You would have saved yourself a headache if you were to just copy the database from the existing DB server over to your new DB server then all you need to do is change the MySQL connections in AdKats and Stats plugin. It's called a MySQL dump and that would help you transfer your data without a problem.

I am using the same DB server as before. I changed locations with the same provider so the database location did not change. AdKats is working properly, bu the stats were not.

 

I managed to get it working. I went to my layer and renamed the old config folder to the new ip address. The stats are now working again. I don't know if that is what fixed it, or if what I had done previously finally worked, but all is good again.

Get the following plugin working first:

myrcon.net/.../stats-webpage-for-xpkillers-stats-logger-plugin

 

If you have problems getting that plugin working, ask in that thread. Then, come back here.

 

You need the one plugin working before AdKats.

There is a reason we have installation steps for AdKats linked in the OP. This is not a simple install and you're done plugin; it's more than half the size of procon itself, logic-wise. it relies on the stat logger plugin, that plugin's tables, and a script you need to run on your database manually.

 

Please follow the instructions posted here to the letter. If you have any further questions about the install by all means ask, but your existing issue is due to not following the instructions.

I can answer your first question!

 

The Battlecry settings allow you to let players make an announcement of their choosing when they enter the server by either say, yell or tell commands. For example, a play can set it to say, Clan Admin Billybob has entered the server or any thing they want to announce when they enter the server.

I'm on a shared webhosting plan from my GSP, so I probably don't have that.
