Advanced In-Game Admin and Ban Enforcer - AdKats

If you've been banned from a server then you will need to appeal the ban with the owners/community of that server. We do not control any bans done on servers that utilize AdKats as all bans are local to that server.

It's separated because colons tables don't work with my setup or vice versa. In the next update the web admin will have an interface to manage AdKats better.

I'm not developing that. That's up to XPKiller. Once you get all of your stat logger info updated, we can update the AdKats information.

You need to change the word "!punish" used in either adkats or the punish/forgive system. Both plugins are trying to issue a command every time someone says !punish, is all.

I have created a script with the web admin to merge the old AdKats from BF3 into the BF4 database. It doesn't merge chat or other data from the loggers table except for servers and player data. That will be in its next update.

For now, I've enabled punish and forgive for guests but not sure exactly how this will conflict with the normal tk !punish and !forgive.

You are going to allow regular guests to punish and forgive in the adkats system..............? Bad idea, mate.

 

Just change your commands in adkats for punish/forgive. We use !pp for punish, and !fgv for forgive. Quicker typing that way anyway, especially when combined with the reasons.

 

So "!pp playername 1" is equal to "!punish playername (for reason) Baserape is not allowed in our server!"

1. Only ONE instance of AdKats should be running this at any time. So shut down your instances.

2. Get those tables/data from the bf3 ban manager plugin onto the same schema/database you are running AdKats on.

3. Start up AdKats on ONE layer/server. You should see the bans start importing.

 

If you cancel the process mid-operation it cannot be restarted, a manual override needs to be done first via the database.

Thank you! Didn't realize that was built in and I didn't have them in the same schema. See them importing now.

I gotcha. So, I will have to figure out someway to manually change my ban IDs and copy them over myself then is what I am understanding?

Correct me if i'm wrong colon, but, when you punish someone it goes through but if the player is already dead it will be moved into a loop until the player respawns then re-issues the punish (without double records) do effectively enforce the punish on the player.

Ban ID's can be different, its the records and player ids that need to match.

 

Here is the script and line number where I do the merging. If you can follow the logic for it then it might help you do it now.

Change your debug level to 3 and you will see it is not. If player died less than 5 seconds ago they are queued to be killed on spawn.

 

ALSO: Turn on procon kill events in the chat log, you will see only one death event for them
