Advanced In-Game Admin and Ban Enforcer - AdKats

If you've been banned from a server then you will need to appeal the ban with the owners/community of that server. We do not control any bans done on servers that utilize AdKats as all bans are local to that server.

Ah..that post hasn't been updated yet.

 

Plugin debugging is a new thing they have added in this version.

 

This should be the line to activate it:

 

procon.private.options.enablePluginDebugging True

Dude...i said if it was an issue please go back to a previous test version...the latest one has a lot of debug information added and will probably cause lag. The debug info will be removed in the full release.

 

EDIT: i'll push one without it and see if it helps.

I was under the impression that when you are running Adkats, it is advised that you turn off the in-game admin component of procon

So it is unchecked in the plugin list..

If they are issuing the commands from in-game then yes their name will be attached. Commands directly from procon cannot be monitored, so if you want their names attached to them you should remove kick/ban access from their procon accounts and have them use the in-game commands.

I know there are issues with certain things bf4 related and problems with the Australian datacenter and network getting hit by attacks, so I am hoping that a solution can be found within what I have provided.

Your massive error list....

Your database is going offline or becoming inaccessible, notice stat logger is giving the same type of errors. So yes if this is happening often your GSP is providing an unreliable database connection.

Did you enable a player interaction commmand for the default guest role? You will know if you did by reporting someone. @report someone test

 

If that spams chat with messages to everyone then you did that.

Prefix with /

 

/report or /@report

 

But i can't get admin names from that. It will be "ProconAdmin" for the admin name.

ok ive changed all the users I put in to a new admin role I created, I made the default role as it was, should this now work if an admin tries to mute someone?

Yes, the only reason it was happening is because it thought everyone was an admin. Because of the huge amount of commands and the huge amount of roles people could have, i have no concrete way of knowing which roles are considered "Admin". So i use the commands each role is assigned and their properties.

 

If you look at your adkats_commands table in the database, all commands where player interaction column is 1 or TRUE are commands that will make a role be considered admin.

That typo has been fixed, and i found/fixed another performance issue. A version will be pushed tonight.

First one...looks like i was tired and found the error but never actually applied the patch. That is done now.

 

Second, just debug stuff, it will be gone in the release.

Are you using the adkats_specialplayers table? That is how those lists are controlled currently. slot_reserved, and slot_spectator are the groups.

 

An automatic slot is also given to all users in your user list. This will be optional in the next release.
