I mean can I create a rule with the total number of players and not with the team size.

On Kill;MapMode ConquestDomination;Damage Shotgun;PlayerCount 3;Log %p% kicked for Shotgun;Kick %p% shotgun use

On Kill;MapMode ConquestDomination;Damage Shotgun;PlayerSay %p% no Shotgun;Kill 100

Can't you click Tools/Check For updates on your Procon Layer? It should download the new BF3.def for you. Then all you will need to do is re-start your Procon Layer.

I have no rpgs and m320s but gun master uses an m320 near the end so people would be killed for using it. So adding the above mapmode made it so the m320 and rpg are only banned in conquest.

I have a question, is there a way to send message to the connected admins, privately ?

If they are in game - yes, If they aren't (ie: ONLY connected via procon) then No :sad: Maybe something you should ask as a feature to be added to Procon 2. Probably not relevant to the ProconRulz thread

I want to send the text/event only to the connected admins or if it is not possible send to a specific player (by name).

Map Xp2_001... or what?

Do you have the new maps in your rotation?

If so, add a rule which says:

On Round;Log %m% loaded

Then, look at your log when the map loads to see what name it displayed for %m%.

Same thing goes for weapon names.

If you don't know what a new weapon is called, add a rule which says:

On Kill;Log %p% used %w% to kill %v%

Then, look at your log as the weapons are used to see what the %w% weapon name is.

EDIT: This method might not work since it will report the localized interpretation of the map and weapon name which may be different from the actual map and weapon name.

The hash marks / pound signs ( # ) comment those rules out so that they will do nothing. I would rewrite your rules differently anyways.

This is what I would use:

On Suicide;Incr %suicide%;Set %inform% 1

On Spawn;If %inform% == 1;If %suicide% == 1;PlayerYell Suicide :-D o_O %suicide%'st time;Set %inform% 0

On Spawn;If %inform% == 1;If %suicide% == 2;PlayerYell Suicide :-D o_O %suicide%'nd time;Set %inform% 0

On Spawn;If %inform% == 1;If %suicide% == 3;PlayerYell Suicide :-D o_O %suicide%'rd time;Set %inform% 0

On Spawn;If %inform% == 1;If %suicide% >= 4;PlayerYell Suicide :-D o_O %suicide%'th time;Set %inform% 0

Changes:

1) Victims don't suicide as far as I know. The suicide is attributed to a player ( %p% ) not victim ( %v% ).

2) You can use %suicide[%p%]% if you want, but it isn't necessary. %suicide% is the same thing as %suicide[%p%]% since each player has their own copy of variables associated with themselves. %suicide% is just shorter and easier than %suicide[%p%]% in this case.

3) PlayerYell doesn't display for anyone who is dead. When you are dead, you can't see the yelled messages. For this reason, I added the On Spawn triggers so the player will see the suicide information after they next spawn.

4) Due to #3, I had to add a %inform% variable to track whether or not the player just suicided so that it only tells the player when they spawn right after they suicide and doesn't repeatedly tell the player every time they spawn.

5) You could set the last rule to do If %suicide% > 3;, but I think it is easier to read if you do If %suicide% >= 4; since it works in exactly the same way, but is more linear in a logical sense.

On Kill;MapMode Domination;Damage ProjectileExplosive;PlayerCount 1;Say %p% was killed for using RPG/SMAW/M320!;Kill

is the MapMode for the new TDM the same as for the original one?

You may need to update your BF3.def file.

I find that the easiest way to update your BF3.def file is to click on 'Tools/Check for Updates' while logged into your layer server.

If you get a new file, Procon will tell you. It will also remind you that you need to restart Procon if your BF3.def file is updated.

If you are also running Procon locally, do the same thing. Then be sure to do a restart with your local copy as well.
