Only seeing in Plugin log (with in-plugin Debug enabled):

[21:35:57] AdaptiveTicketCount: INFO -> Round ended.

Console Log is attached.

Relevant settings:

- Using 'Default Ticket Count'

- "Percentage" units

Tix are: 133% , 166% (22 players), 200% (44 players).

There were 53 players at the time of the logging, and tickets were still at 133% (what the server booted with).

Hope that's the info you need!

I would actually need the logs from the layer server, not your local PRoCon. However, one guy who claims to have this problem has already given me access to his server, so I should be able to figure it out that way. I just haven't had time, yet. I'll try to get to it soon.

2) Again, I need the logs from your layer server, not your local client. Also, I need events enabled in the PRoCon console logs. This is not the same as the separate Events log.

I updated the plugin with the last version after uninstalling it, and it works fine now again.

I can't find any log on the layer server. I goes on it by ftp and didn't find any log.

1) Close Procon

2) Drag the "Plugins" folder (from the file attached to this thread) into the Procon folder

2.5) If you did it correctly, you should see "\Plugins\CAdaptiveTicketCount.inc" and

"\Plugins\BF3\CAdaptiveTicketCount.cs"

3) Start up Procon

4) Check the "Plugins" tab

Make it so that it's a simple thing of entering in player number ranges and that range has it's own setting. Then create another range and set that ticket setting and so on.

Example the admin could simply do

Range 1: 0-20 players = 300

Click button to add another range

Range 2: 21-40 players = 600

Click button to add another range

Range 3: 41-64 players = 1000

Or maybe do a thing at the top of each mode that asks for how many ranges to use. The admin enters in a number, in my example 3, and it goes from there. And the last mode the max player number is automatically set to 64. If they set the number of ranges to just 1 then the player numbers are auto set to 0 and 64 and only the ticket/percentage setting needs to be set.

You could even go so far as to auto fill in the ranges for the admins just as a default setting. So if they set the number of ranges they want to use to 2 then it'll auto fill in Range1 as 0-32 and Range2 as 33-64, 3 ranges 0-21, 22-42, 43-64 (or something like that) and so on. They can of course still change those ranges, these would just be a simple default example of what to do.

You already set a default value for the ticket/percentage setting for each line so of course you can keep that as well.

I hope that made some kind of sense.

It's just really painful to have to go to each game mode, along with the Default (just in case), and change 65 lines when a server plays mixed modes.

I can't remember if it's been suggested before, or not. It probably has. I do understand what you're asking, but as much of a pain as it is for you to set everything up, it would be even more of a pain for me to implement what you're asking for. In theory, it's a simple concept, but due to the way PRoCon's plugin option settings work, it would be a huge pain to do in a way that wasn't overly complicated. Generally, this is somewhat of a "set it and forget it" plugin, so once you experience the pain of setting it up, you shouldn't have to mess with it too much after that. So, unfortunately, I don't have plans to do this.

Indeed. Unfortunately, I'm not sure that this will be resolved in the short term, as I'll be out of town for the next 2 weeks. What's odd is, I don't know why it works fine for some and not for others. Those are the worst kind of bugs.

If you need map specific settings, you should consider Ultimate Map Manager. I won't be adding it to this plugin.

True. Well, ATC is designed to either keep the default ticket ratios or specify the exact ticket count for all maps. Technically, it's possible to alter the calculation for a specific map by changing the hard-coded tables in the plugin, so you're welcome to give that a shot. The problem with map-specific settings in a plugin like this is that configuration would become a nightmare. After all, there are already 64 settings for each game mode plus the default. Adding maps would multiply that number by the number of maps in the game. We'd be talking thousands of options at that point..

the .def file? Was this since AK release? If so, can you maybe assist further.. I'm willing to attempt different fixes, within reason.

As for the plugin itself. Not sure if this is the same issue.. it was working until AK came out, but I've also update stuff to get votemap working. Not sure if this is related, but ADC hasn't worked since. Since I'm not the only one reporting, I'm sure it's not just me. I will patiently await a fix. Our clan loves using this plugin, as we run a 48 man server with ALL maps. So, this is extremely helpful while populating, then raising the count when it's full for smaller maps...or even large ones. Thanks.

As I said, I will patiently await some news of a fix.

Depends on what's wrong. You didn't provide enough information. Please refer to this post:

  • Our picks

    • Game Server Hosting:

We're happy to announce that EZRCON will branch out into the game server provider scene. This is a big step for us so please having patience if something doesn't go right in this area. Now, what makes us different compared to other providers? Well, we're going with the idea of having a scaleable server hosting and providing more control in how you set up your server. For example, in Minecraft, you have the ability to control how many CPU cores you wish your server to have access to, how much RAM you want to use, how much disk space you want to use. This type of control can't be offered in a single service package so you're able to configure a custom package the way you want it.

You can see all the available games here. Currently, we have the following games available.

      Valheim (From $1.50 USD)

      Rust (From $3.20 USD)

      Minecraft (Basic) (From $4.00 USD)

Call of Duty 4X (From $7.00 USD)

      OpenTTD (From $4.00 USD)

      Squad (From $9.00 USD)

      Insurgency: Sandstorm (From $6.40 USD)

      Changes to US-East:

Starting in January 2022, we will be moving to a different provider that has better support, better infrastructure, and better connectivity. We've noticed that the connection/routes to this location are not ideal and it's been hard getting support to correct this. Our contract for our two servers ends in March/April respectively. If you currently have servers in this location you will be migrated over to the new provider. We'll have more details when the time comes closer to January. The new location for this change will be based out of Atlanta, GA. If you have any questions/concerns please open a ticket and we'll do our best to answer them.

    • Hello All,

I wanted to give an update to how EZRCON is doing. As of today we have 56 active customers using the services offered. I'm glad its doing so well and it hasn't been 1 year yet. To those that have services with EZRCON, I hope the service is doing well and if not please let us know so that we can improve it where possible. We've done quite a few changes behind the scenes to improve the performance hopefully.

We'll be launching a new location for hosting procon layers in either Los Angeles, USA or Chicago, IL. Still being decided on where the placement should be but these two locations are not set in stone yet. We would like to get feedback on where we should have a new location for hosting the Procon Layers, which you can do by replying to this topic. A poll will be created where people can vote on which location they would like to see.

We're also looking for some suggestions on what else you would like to see for hosting provider options. So please let us know your thoughts on this matter.

    • Added ability to disable the new API check for player country info

      Updated GeoIP database file

      Removed usage sending stats

      Added EZRCON ad banner

If you are upgrading then you may need to add these two lines to your existing installation in the file procon.cfg. To enable these options just change False to True.

      procon.private.options.UseGeoIpFileOnly False
      procon.private.options.BlockRssFeedNews False

    • I wanted I let you know that I am starting to build out the foundation for the hosting services that I talked about here. The pricing model I was originally going for wasn't going to be suitable for how I want to build it. So instead I decided to offer each service as it's own product instead of a package deal. In the future, hopefully, I will be able to do this and offer discounts to those that choose it.

Here is how the pricing is laid out for each service as well as information about each. This is as of 7/12/2020.

Single MySQL database (up to 30 GB) is $10 USD per month.

If you go over the 30 GB usage for the database then each additional gigabyte is charged at $0.10 USD each billing cycle. If you're under 30GB you don't need to worry about this.

Databases are replicated across 3 zones (regions) for redundancy. One (1) on the east coast of the USA, One (1) in Frankfurt, and One (1) in Singapore. Depending on the demand, this would grow to more regions.

Databases will also be backed up daily and retained for 7 days.

Procon Layer will be $2 USD per month.

Each layer will only allow one (1) game server connection. The reason behind this is for performance.

Each layer will also come with all available plugins installed by default. This is to help facilitate faster deployments and get you up and running quickly.

Each layer will automatically restart if Procon crashes.

Each layer will also automatically restart daily at midnight to make sure it stays in tip-top shape.

Custom plugins can be installed by submitting a support ticket.

Battlefield Admin Control Panel (BFACP) will be $5 USD per month

As I am still working on building version 3 of the software, I will be installing the last version I did. Once I complete version 3 it will automatically be upgraded for you.

All these services will be managed by me so you don't have to worry about the technical side of things to get up and going.

If you would like to see how much it would cost for the services, I made a calculator that you can use. It can be found here https://ezrcon.com/calculator.html

    • I have pushed out a new minor release which updates the geodata pull (flags in the playerlisting). This should be way more accurate now. As always, please let me know if any problems show up.
