Yeah, sometimes it can't get the exact number due to the math involved. The server only accepts a percentage of the default ticket number, so for example, if 8% is 48 tickets and 9% is 51 tickets, the plugin chooses the closest one.

No, when the round ends and the player count is still at 2. Then the next round will have 50 tickets.

Gotcha!! So, if 3 people start the server, and later 10 more join, it will only play at the tickets set for 3 people until the next round of course. See, I thought it changed as people joined. Cool, thanks!!

Donated!!!

Yes, it can do that.

I've never heard of anything like that. In order to provide any assistance, I'll need more information. Please refer to the Support section of the first post.

Sorry, didn't see that section before  I hope this will help. If not, just say what I have to do!

Btw. I deleted all AdaptiveTicketCount files from our ProCon Layer, including the plugin files (.inc and .cs), and also all the related plugin text in server_ip.cfg file. And then I installed the plugin again and set it all up, but no success. The tickets just doesn't change :/

Ah okay, sorry! Not entirely sure what parts of the files you need, but I think I found something.. Also, not sure what file you needed (only console log or any more, so I sent you them all from today). I have deleted a lot of lines from the files and just kept the (hopefully) important ones. Also, I just started plugin logging and did the same thing again on the server.

I will try to explain what I've done to test if it works:

1) Manually set GameMode Counter to 5% and restart the map in order to give the map a low number of tickets.

2) Enable AdaptiveTicketCount and set it to an actual number of tickets for the upcoming game mode, like 500 tickets.

3) Start capping some flags in the current game mode in order to complete the current map (with 5% tickets) and when the new map loads, it should have 500 tickets as I've set it up in the plugin. But it's still at 5% tickets.

This is how I tried to do test it all alone and fast, but maybe it won't work that way. But anyway, we have had the plugin running for some week(s) on our servers and it haven't worked even when the servers were full real full and we haven't done any manually GameMode Counter changes or something like that.

The weird thing is that it all worked perfectly before (like a month ago and all time before that) and then it stopped working. No idea why really :/ We have also tried to re-install one of our BF3 servers together with it's Procon Layer, but that didn't solve it.

I can see that the plugin is sending some commands in order to gather information, but it's seemingly not executing the all-important "CheckTickets" procedure that actually sets the ticket count, or perhaps it's failing for some reason. I just don't know why.

Actually, I don't really know what different I did other than re-installing it :/ It didn't work at first, but now after some maps it all started to work :o

I'm excited to see how it will work on the other servers tomorrow when we got players on them! Thanks for your help anyway, even if anything couldn't be done

Not sure that is correct. To turn on logging on my layer I have to edit procon/Configs/procon.cfg

From:-

Code:

procon.private.options.chatLogging False
procon.private.options.consoleLogging False
procon.private.options.eventsLogging False
procon.private.options.pluginLogging False
To:-

Code:

procon.private.options.chatLogging True
procon.private.options.consoleLogging True
procon.private.options.eventsLogging True
procon.private.options.pluginLogging True

Ah okay. Currently it's like this:

procon.protected.console.settings True False False True True True

So I'm changing it now to what you wrote (the second False -> True). Btw.. what do the third False do? What will happen if I set it to True (which will result in all of them being True).

I got all these as a GUI option, just using a drop-down menu selecting True or False, so they were all enabled already

You have these as a GUI option on your layer server? Most people don't, so they also have to edit these lines to enable the logging on the server.

Indeed, I have to edit the files manually.

Ye, just the four settings he posted I got in our Layer GUI settings. But I had to edit the file manually to enable events in console log. This is how it looks like for me.

Thanks pretty good of them to do that. Who is your layer provider?

Using Fragnet both for the BF3 servers and for the PRoCon Layer. There's one layer per server, so each layer is directly connected to it's respective server, so it's kinda fast instead of having a separate Layer "outside" of the BF3 servers (we had it like that before).

Please send the information requested in the Support section of the first post. How to properly enable logging on your layer server has been discussed over the past couple of pages.

Tho, in order to make it a full "re-install" of the plugin, I think you also have to remove the lines from serverip_port.conf file that includes AdaptiveTicketCount. I don't know if this is needed tho, but I did it at least.

If it doesn't work to re-install the plugin, a full re-install of the Procon Layer should do it.

  • Our picks

    • Game Server Hosting:

We're happy to announce that EZRCON will branch out into the game server provider scene. This is a big step for us so please having patience if something doesn't go right in this area. Now, what makes us different compared to other providers? Well, we're going with the idea of having a scaleable server hosting and providing more control in how you set up your server. For example, in Minecraft, you have the ability to control how many CPU cores you wish your server to have access to, how much RAM you want to use, how much disk space you want to use. This type of control can't be offered in a single service package so you're able to configure a custom package the way you want it.

You can see all the available games here. Currently, we have the following games available.

      Valheim (From $1.50 USD)

      Rust (From $3.20 USD)

      Minecraft (Basic) (From $4.00 USD)

Call of Duty 4X (From $7.00 USD)

      OpenTTD (From $4.00 USD)

      Squad (From $9.00 USD)

      Insurgency: Sandstorm (From $6.40 USD)

      Changes to US-East:

Starting in January 2022, we will be moving to a different provider that has better support, better infrastructure, and better connectivity. We've noticed that the connection/routes to this location are not ideal and it's been hard getting support to correct this. Our contract for our two servers ends in March/April respectively. If you currently have servers in this location you will be migrated over to the new provider. We'll have more details when the time comes closer to January. The new location for this change will be based out of Atlanta, GA. If you have any questions/concerns please open a ticket and we'll do our best to answer them.

    • Hello All,

I wanted to give an update to how EZRCON is doing. As of today we have 56 active customers using the services offered. I'm glad its doing so well and it hasn't been 1 year yet. To those that have services with EZRCON, I hope the service is doing well and if not please let us know so that we can improve it where possible. We've done quite a few changes behind the scenes to improve the performance hopefully.

We'll be launching a new location for hosting procon layers in either Los Angeles, USA or Chicago, IL. Still being decided on where the placement should be but these two locations are not set in stone yet. We would like to get feedback on where we should have a new location for hosting the Procon Layers, which you can do by replying to this topic. A poll will be created where people can vote on which location they would like to see.

We're also looking for some suggestions on what else you would like to see for hosting provider options. So please let us know your thoughts on this matter.

    • Added ability to disable the new API check for player country info

      Updated GeoIP database file

      Removed usage sending stats

      Added EZRCON ad banner

If you are upgrading then you may need to add these two lines to your existing installation in the file procon.cfg. To enable these options just change False to True.

      procon.private.options.UseGeoIpFileOnly False
      procon.private.options.BlockRssFeedNews False

    • I wanted I let you know that I am starting to build out the foundation for the hosting services that I talked about here. The pricing model I was originally going for wasn't going to be suitable for how I want to build it. So instead I decided to offer each service as it's own product instead of a package deal. In the future, hopefully, I will be able to do this and offer discounts to those that choose it.

Here is how the pricing is laid out for each service as well as information about each. This is as of 7/12/2020.

Single MySQL database (up to 30 GB) is $10 USD per month.

If you go over the 30 GB usage for the database then each additional gigabyte is charged at $0.10 USD each billing cycle. If you're under 30GB you don't need to worry about this.

Databases are replicated across 3 zones (regions) for redundancy. One (1) on the east coast of the USA, One (1) in Frankfurt, and One (1) in Singapore. Depending on the demand, this would grow to more regions.

Databases will also be backed up daily and retained for 7 days.

Procon Layer will be $2 USD per month.

Each layer will only allow one (1) game server connection. The reason behind this is for performance.

Each layer will also come with all available plugins installed by default. This is to help facilitate faster deployments and get you up and running quickly.

Each layer will automatically restart if Procon crashes.

Each layer will also automatically restart daily at midnight to make sure it stays in tip-top shape.

Custom plugins can be installed by submitting a support ticket.

Battlefield Admin Control Panel (BFACP) will be $5 USD per month

As I am still working on building version 3 of the software, I will be installing the last version I did. Once I complete version 3 it will automatically be upgraded for you.

All these services will be managed by me so you don't have to worry about the technical side of things to get up and going.

If you would like to see how much it would cost for the services, I made a calculator that you can use. It can be found here https://ezrcon.com/calculator.html

    • I have pushed out a new minor release which updates the geodata pull (flags in the playerlisting). This should be way more accurate now. As always, please let me know if any problems show up.
