Thank you for the plugin (no sarcasm). I bet its the most popular plugin available. Still, I'd like to ask you to disable the Autoupdate feature by default in upcoming update. I did end up changing the min players to start from "0" to "1" and it seems to work but when you type in your vote such as /1, it comes back '1' is not a valid command. Also I was in my server by myself, I have all the CQ maps, including CR loaded up as my map list, I was on Golmud and did a test vote, voted for Hainan, waited and it said Zavod won with 100% of votes with 3 votes, how is that possible? Zavod is at the top of the list btw.

what i see from the logs is that the command "/votemap" was recognized and handled "[00:25:12 41] [xVotemap 1.5.4.0] Info: Froz3nTundra started a Votemap"

 

you didnt see the voteoptions because all maps were removed "[00:25:13 07] [xVotemap 1.5.4.0] Info: Not enough maps in the maplist to start a vote. Stopping voting system"

most likely because you have "exclude current gamemode from voteoptions" enabled

there is an option "minimum players to start", with it you can set a minimum number of players for votemap to start.

you should have a look at ultimate maplist manager too.

1. ultimate maplist manager can do that

2. votes threshold controls this (less votes than this -> next map not changed)

currently, when no player votes, the maplist just continues to run.

3. a limit of 55 minutes (minus your voting duration) is already in place. you can see this with debug level 3

good idea, but unfortunately beyond the scope of this plugin (votemap does not modify the maplist, which would be needed to run the chosen maplist after the vote ended)

 

check out ultimate maplist manager for changing the maplist based on various things.

you could set the voting threshold to 75% of the max players of your server (64 players -> 48). but i would not recommend that. it would need 48 players for the voting to pass. i have it set to 5 on my servers

DICE has activated yell now and when i look into the code of votemap i see that many messages are only for the chat and not as an option to set for both or just to say or yell. It would be really nice to have this option for more messages like Votemap finished and which map has won. And to have the option to edit this messages in the settings. Now you added the option to change the votemap banner from the say message but the yell banner is different and it would be nice to have the option to edit this (yell) banner too. :ohmy:

votemap should find the start and end times fine based on the ticket loss of each team. i can see that this might not work all of the time. i could add some more options to adjust the vote for each gamemode in a future update.

i cant see an error sorry. operation locker won and it got set as the next map (first map in your maplist, index 0). seems fine.

 

Hmm, not sure why it isen't working as it sees the 30 maps in my map rotation but it dosen't set the map that wins as next map.

be sure not to alter your maplist during or after a vote.

It would be really nice to have this option for more messages like Votemap finished and which map has won. And to have the option to edit this messages in the settings. Now you added the option to change the votemap banner from the say message but the yell banner is different and it would be nice to have the option to edit this (yell) banner too. :ohmy:

mono does not have any ca (certificate authoroity) that it trusts by default.

i would recommend to add the firefox cas using mozroots.exe

Sounds good so if 4 new maps from a new dlc are in this "vip maplist" and in the current maplist always "only" one of the new maps will be added to display as vote option. Would be good only one, because when somebody has 4 Maps as Option, there are 3 other Maps to choose. :ohmy:

      Changes to US-East:

      Starting in January 2022, we will be moving to a different provider that has better support, better infrastructure, and better connectivity. We've noticed that the connection/routes to this location are not ideal and it's been hard getting support to correct this. Our contract for our two servers ends in March/April respectively. If you currently have servers in this location you will be migrated over to the new provider. We'll have more details when the time comes closer to January. The new location for this change will be based out of Atlanta, GA. If you have any questions/concerns please open a ticket and we'll do our best to answer them.

      I wanted to give an update to how EZRCON is doing. As of today we have 56 active customers using the services offered. I'm glad its doing so well and it hasn't been 1 year yet. To those that have services with EZRCON, I hope the service is doing well and if not please let us know so that we can improve it where possible. We've done quite a few changes behind the scenes to improve the performance hopefully. 

      We'll be launching a new location for hosting procon layers in either Los Angeles, USA or Chicago, IL. Still being decided on where the placement should be but these two locations are not set in stone yet. We would like to get feedback on where we should have a new location for hosting the Procon Layers, which you can do by replying to this topic. A poll will be created where people can vote on which location they would like to see.

      We're also looking for some suggestions on what else you would like to see for hosting provider options. So please let us know your thoughts on this matter.

    • I wanted I let you know that I am starting to build out the foundation for the hosting services that I talked about here. The pricing model I was originally going for wasn't going to be suitable for how I want to build it. So instead I decided to offer each service as it's own product instead of a package deal. In the future, hopefully, I will be able to do this and offer discounts to those that choose it.

      Here is how the pricing is laid out for each service as well as information about each. This is as of 7/12/2020.

      Single MySQL database (up to 30 GB) is $10 USD per month.



      If you go over the 30 GB usage for the database then each additional gigabyte is charged at $0.10 USD each billing cycle. If you're under 30GB you don't need to worry about this.


      Databases are replicated across 3 zones (regions) for redundancy. One (1) on the east coast of the USA, One (1) in Frankfurt, and One (1) in Singapore. Depending on the demand, this would grow to more regions.


      Databases will also be backed up daily and retained for 7 days.




      Procon Layer will be $2 USD per month.


      Each layer will only allow one (1) game server connection. The reason behind this is for performance.


      Each layer will also come with all available plugins installed by default. This is to help facilitate faster deployments and get you up and running quickly.


      Each layer will automatically restart if Procon crashes. 


      Each layer will also automatically restart daily at midnight to make sure it stays in tip-top shape.


      Custom plugins can be installed by submitting a support ticket.




      Battlefield Admin Control Panel (BFACP) will be $5 USD per month


      As I am still working on building version 3 of the software, I will be installing the last version I did. Once I complete version 3 it will automatically be upgraded for you.





      All these services will be managed by me so you don't have to worry about the technical side of things to get up and going.
