It says vote in game but it dont display the maps to vote for :/

Just to let you know this happens only when I have the 4 SA maps in the rotation.

 

The order i have them is the same order as what is on the server and procon and how they are listed by DICE.

 

Conquest Large

 

XP0_Caspian

XP0_Firestorm

XP0_Metro

XP0_Oman

 

If I have the other maps in the rotation without the 4 SA maps, everything works great.

Due to long map names, 2 maps no longer fit in one line of the message. Maybe you could remove the 2014 from the map name so they don't take so much space?

im probably not gonna add options to alter the mapnames if there is no demand.

 

one of the next updates will introduce a settings block for each gamemode. feel free to post other features you want to see, but i cant promise anything.

 

sorry that i have to "say no" to some wishes but the required time to implement it often exceeds the use.

At the risk of sounding like a noob... I´m using Procon Frostbite 1.4.1.6 and no matter how much I expand/contract the windows, I can´t find the Reload button to save my life.... which I guess is also why I still can´t use the Votemap plugin... not listed, and can´t find the damned button to reload the plugins!

 

It´s been 3 days now, and still no answer... could someone try to help me out on this one?

I believe Moli87 already provided the update for you to have the maps shown on 4 separate lines at this link:

As it stands now, the maps are taking up 4 lines anyway because two Second Assault maps cannot fit on one line, especially if you have the game modes in the vote options like I do for my mixed server.

 

Could you use Moli87's update shown in the link above to update vote map, or do you need to do more?

open the xVotemap.cs with notepad++ or something like that....go first to Line 2117 and add a new line after that with string strLine2 = "";

should look like this from line 2115 - 2119:

then change Line 2164 to:

Yeah my solution is working, but its not the best solution so i can understand grizzly.... if you have 4 Maps in your Mapcycle and exclude the current Map from the Option you got also 4 Lines but the 4th line is an empty admin line in the Chat. You can implement it after every update very easy...or i can mail you. NP :ohmy:

 

@grizzly to what exactly you say no to implement it? The feature with the VIP Maplist? Where we could set all 4 new dlc maps so that sure one of them will be shown in the voting options?

With respect to xVotemap, this limit should work most of the time, fail sometimes. xVotemap changes the next map at unpredictable times. Basically, whenever a vote ends, which can be on round over or any time during the round, the next map is set. If the vote ends before end of round, it should be okay, but if the vote ends at the end of round, it's a race to see who goes first, xVotemap or this limit. We want the limit to go after xVotemap.

 

Fortunately, Insane Limits has a slight edge because it actually triggers on OnRoundOverTeamScores, which always comes after OnRoundOver. That doesn't eliminate the race completely, since the time between OnRoundOver and OnRoundOverTeamScores is measured in milliseconds, but most of the time xVotemap should go first, which is what you want.

 

Unfortunately, the update for the map indices is unpredictable. It would be ideal if xVotemap issued the mapList.getMapIndices command immediately after setting a new index, to let all other plugins know that the map has changed, but from what I see in the xVotemap code, it doesn't do that. Perhaps that could be a feature request for the plugin dev of xVotemap (see below for do-it-yourself tips)?

Sorry for my bad english, but is it possible to set votemap, that the map change to the next map with zero players on the server and zero votes?

In the log i see this :

"Winning Vote Dragon Pass randomly selected as winner

..... Dragan Pass Won

..... Displayed next Map"

... but nothing happens, the map does not change !

Also as somone else mentioned if I remove the 2nd ass maps works like a champ with vanilla and CR maps.

I'm not exactly sure what your problem is but it does work with the new maps. I'm not an expert with this plugin, especially since no one has answered my question yet but it could be conflicting with another plugin.

Yes plz look above. Even when a person gets first kill on a SA map it says unknown map...maybe you are rigth...perhaps conflict I will try to disable a plugin which may be problem

      Changes to US-East:

      Starting in January 2022, we will be moving to a different provider that has better support, better infrastructure, and better connectivity. We've noticed that the connection/routes to this location are not ideal and it's been hard getting support to correct this. Our contract for our two servers ends in March/April respectively. If you currently have servers in this location you will be migrated over to the new provider. We'll have more details when the time comes closer to January. The new location for this change will be based out of Atlanta, GA. If you have any questions/concerns please open a ticket and we'll do our best to answer them.

      I wanted to give an update to how EZRCON is doing. As of today we have 56 active customers using the services offered. I'm glad its doing so well and it hasn't been 1 year yet. To those that have services with EZRCON, I hope the service is doing well and if not please let us know so that we can improve it where possible. We've done quite a few changes behind the scenes to improve the performance hopefully. 

      We'll be launching a new location for hosting procon layers in either Los Angeles, USA or Chicago, IL. Still being decided on where the placement should be but these two locations are not set in stone yet. We would like to get feedback on where we should have a new location for hosting the Procon Layers, which you can do by replying to this topic. A poll will be created where people can vote on which location they would like to see.

      We're also looking for some suggestions on what else you would like to see for hosting provider options. So please let us know your thoughts on this matter.

      If you are upgrading then you may need to add these two lines to your existing installation in the file procon.cfg. To enable these options just change False to True.

    • I wanted I let you know that I am starting to build out the foundation for the hosting services that I talked about here. The pricing model I was originally going for wasn't going to be suitable for how I want to build it. So instead I decided to offer each service as it's own product instead of a package deal. In the future, hopefully, I will be able to do this and offer discounts to those that choose it.

      Here is how the pricing is laid out for each service as well as information about each. This is as of 7/12/2020.

      Single MySQL database (up to 30 GB) is $10 USD per month.



      If you go over the 30 GB usage for the database then each additional gigabyte is charged at $0.10 USD each billing cycle. If you're under 30GB you don't need to worry about this.


      Databases are replicated across 3 zones (regions) for redundancy. One (1) on the east coast of the USA, One (1) in Frankfurt, and One (1) in Singapore. Depending on the demand, this would grow to more regions.


      Databases will also be backed up daily and retained for 7 days.




      Procon Layer will be $2 USD per month.


      Each layer will only allow one (1) game server connection. The reason behind this is for performance.


      Each layer will also come with all available plugins installed by default. This is to help facilitate faster deployments and get you up and running quickly.


      Each layer will automatically restart if Procon crashes. 


      Each layer will also automatically restart daily at midnight to make sure it stays in tip-top shape.


      Custom plugins can be installed by submitting a support ticket.




      Battlefield Admin Control Panel (BFACP) will be $5 USD per month


      As I am still working on building version 3 of the software, I will be installing the last version I did. Once I complete version 3 it will automatically be upgraded for you.





      All these services will be managed by me so you don't have to worry about the technical side of things to get up and going.

    • I have pushed out a new minor release which updates the geodata pull (flags in the playerlisting). This should be way more accurate now. As always, please let me know if any problems show up.
