There is not a way to do this currently. You can set it up so the restrictions are only active on specific maps, but the restrictions themselves can't change between maps.

Yes, it can disable any weapon specifically for each vehicle. You can have it ban heatseekers on helicopters without banning them on jets.

You can set it up to only act on people who have killed with the bad loadouts. For example getting a kill with a tank while they have thermal equipped. Once they get a kill with that bad loadout, they must change the loadout, or the system will keep killing them.

If BF1 does come out with support for RCON i'll be helping with that transition, for both Procon itself, and with my plugins. It's just the prospect that this is the end of RCON support, or procon in general, that really kills my interest in keeping things updated/fresh.

I can understand your thoughts and feelings as you posted them. But I also would expect that since a lot of people have trusted you and in fact made donations to you for this plugin that you would honor that and continue to work on this program and Adkats until the day BF1 comes out at the least.

 

I understand you are busy with other life issues but as a professional I would like to see you stay interested in your projects that have made our jobs as admins and server owners so much easier. It is so frustrating to have plugin created by people and then dropped and forgotten and then we are stuck with programs that no longer work as intended.

 

Until the day Dice announces what it is going to do with BF1 regarding private server owners, I would expect you to continue your great work.

 

Don't give up on us just yet!!!

Don't get me wrong, I'm not gone. If something serious comes up I always work to rectify it. I'm more talking about the nice features or enhancements people have requested over time, and the things I myself want to implement, both of which is quite the backlog at this point. I just don't have the time to constantly upgrade/enhance the plugin with new things like I used to. Of course if something is broken it gets fixed, especially for LRT, for which I've required purchase to access.

Sorry missed this. Do you have them set to deny on trigger or deny on spawn? Set them to deny on both. Also check to make sure you don't have your map specific settings enabled.

Automatic Updates

 

AdKats is set up to automatically update itself when stable releases are made, so there is no need to upload newer versions to your layer once you are running it. Once the update is automatically downloaded and patched, all it requires is a Procon reboot to run the updated version. Admins will be informed of available updates when they are published, or if the plugin was able to automatically update, that the Procon instance needs to be rebooted. The automatic update process can be disabled for those who want to manually update, but it is enabled by default.

Make sure you're signed into your github.com account, then go here:

If you aren't signed in, it will 404.

 

Press ctrl+s and save it as AdKatsLRT.cs, that is the updated plugin, upload it to your layer.

 

otherwise just copy the token in the URL and paste it into the LRT update setting in AdKats, A16 i believe? And it will update for you.

In short, no, the plugin does not cover that. The plugin can control what weapons they can have equipped while in the chopper, but not usage of the choppers themselves.

 

Usage of vehicles as a whole should be monitored with a on-kill auto-admin, such as proconrulz or insane limits. Just punish on all kills with the choppers and people will get the idea.
