If you read through the code, you'd see that this makes no sense. Joining players are held in an array and they're automatically removed after 30 seconds. As such, this shouldn't happen. The only filters quickmatch uses are Preset, game mode, maps and base or karkand. The open slot count or server size does not factor in. I then joined a bunch of servers using quickmatch to see if it was trying to fill the almost servers over the lesser populated ones and it put me in servers of varying free slot counts. I kept a close eye on the slot count knowing that servers are using this plug-in to see if it made a difference. Here is the player count and slot count on each try. I'm using Normal/Conquest Large on B2K: 4/4, 31/64, 32/32, 1/4, 1/4, 32/32, 1/20, 1/4, 33/64, 5/8, 2/16, 2/4 It seems completely random to me but I did notice that only twice did I join a server with 64 slots and they were both already half full. That part disturbs me as I'm trying to populate a 64 slot server. Based on my small test it would seem worthwhile to use this plug-in to get to 32 players for quickmatch joins but I'm worried about missing the guys joining through the server browser that set their filter to a 64 player slot count. Once you get to about 8 players the server seems to take off with or without this plug-in in my case.From what I've read on the forums, and from stuff posted by DICE staff, the QuickMatch system only caters to default-ish server configs that aren't running 64player maps and are at least half full. I also notice that it sometimes doesn't kick in full-force until I'm at about 8 players, but I am not using this plugin, I'm using NFO's version that is built in to their server admin control panel which is pretty much the same thing. As for there being a difference between slot adjuster being on or off, what little experimenting I did showed that traffic came a little quicker with it on. Quote * Restored post. And unfortunately I don't have a log to post. The new variable only controls the max for that specific game mode. If you're not running that game mode, it shouldn't have any effect. Sounds like the round started with a max of 8 players. Restart the round and allow the plugin to temporarily set the max to 48. If that doesn't work, you'll need to provide some logs. Wow really? How much do you pay for your hosting? We use www.branzone.com to host ours.. it's only $2.99 month and we have full access to it. I would consider moving to them or another host. What package list are you referring to? Do you mean the list of loaded plugins? We have no control over what Phogue chooses to include with each release of PRoCon.
