Hello~

I made it through the installing pretty decent. but some interesting things happend lately.

1. There was no default admin account seeded into the database. (solved it by just register a account and then confirm it and assign administrator role to it)

2. Every new account can't Create Bans only the first one i created, the others triggers this exception after clicken on the button

Next exception 'ErrorException' with message 'Trying to get property of non-object (View: /var/www/vhosts/XXX/XXX/app/views/admin/adkats/bans/create.blade.php)' in /var/www/vhosts/XXX/XXX/app/storage/views/02237e9e9821bcfac5602a99828070a2:19

Do those accounts have a soldier assigned to them for that game? They need to have one assigned for that game.

Ok so my theory is confirmed now xD

So in order to use the functions i need to assign those accounts their soldier.

Is there a sneaky way to bypass that? since some Mods of my Orga doesnt play BF4 but should be able to ban/kick etc.

i have 3 independent bfacp + adkats installed on the same server with independent database.

However, using memcached the main dashboard indicators are cumulative, adding the 3 servers based on the first bfacp installed.

Last bfacp+adkats installed with clean database, it keeps showing values in the dashboard of the other servers even being in independent BFACP.

How can i fix it ?

I need some help setting this up please.
I have made an A record for bfacp.domainexample.com to my vps ip adress.
Then on my vps I am using NGINX, I created the bfacp direcroty and then did "cd /var/www/bfacp"
Then I used the command line install method with composer.
I copied a /etc/nginx/sites-available site1.conf and edited the domains in the file to bfacp.domainexample.com
Symbolic link is also made.
I have created the cert certificates also.
And I did restart nginx with no errors.
But now when I go to that url it downloads the index.php file and doesn't show any webpage.

What have I done wrong? Can you give me an example for the .conf file that should work?

I think I have all the requirements installed I went thru them one by one to install.

Not in the latest public version. Version 3 (still in development) fixes this limitation.

Thank you for this quick reply!  I tried this Nginx steps however it was from a very old ubuntu guide it reffered to I found the steps for ubuntu 18.04. But still it simply downloads the index.php instead of showing it unfortunately.

You running any JS blocker addons or anything? Did you modify the install from github in any way?

Is it possible the temp ban / permanent ban on live scoreboard is broken?

Never tried until now. Can always add a ban to the profile.

Have you uploaded the vendor folder? Also which version are you trying to install?

 Version 2.0.2 . I checked and I believe there's just no implementation of ban on live scoreboardd. Is that possible?

Just my personal opinion:

Bf42 will probably not have RCON. Nah definitely. Thanks dice.

So it's probably not worth the work anymore

I'm just wondering. The announcement was already a year or more a year ago and he said that soon, soon, but it does not come soon. Probably real life, you will answer? Okay. It's a pity that 3.0 never saw the light.
I didn't mean that 2042 will have RCON. I meant that after 2042 there will be no point in 3.0, this is my opinion.

Well I mean you're not wrong that I will say real life does get in the way.  Especially during a pandemic. Version 3 is still being worked on in what little spare time I got. Between my work, running/maintaining EZRCON, and dealing with at home stuff, it's not exactly a lot free time these days.

Also, guess this is a good time as any but Version 3 will be only available through EZRCON as I made a design choice that makes it way more difficult to support in an open source environment, which I'm not willing to do. Now, this doesn't prevent your use of it as it will still allow remote database connections. Part of the reason it's taking longer to actually finish.

I'm still hoping 2042 allows RCON access, maybe at a later date.

let me explain the chatlog as an example.

chat loged time in my DB is KST (UTC+9). it's correct

But.

in bfacp chat logs. it add +9 again! it shown UTC+18 time. what should i do to fix this?

all server are in Seoul. same region. procon layer, bfacp webserver, DB serve etc...

Do not log the chat with chat logger. Disable chat logging there and use the manually post chat setting in AdKats.

If this doesn't help. Make sure that your php time zone and the time zone of the database server are correctly configured.

Go into the database. You have bfacp roles there. Ine should be called Administrator.

 

Assign the ID of it to the user.

 

It is an 1:N relation so the role id should be set in the user table probably? Not sure have to look it up otherwise

You'd set the role of your user id in the table "bfacp_user_roles". By default it should be 1 (one) for the role id for full administrator.

The user I've made have ID 1, but I dont have admin rights on that account.
So i cant use Admin CP right now, because I cant add servers because I dont have admin rights.

Any ideas?

You have to modify the database directly.
