Once completed upload the entire application to your webserver. Once uploaded you will need to modify some file and folder permissions. Change the files and folders permissions under app/storage recursively to 0777. This application was designed to run on a subdomain and not from a folder from the TLD. Make sure to create a subdomain and if possible have domain point to the public folder that's located under the root folder.

 

Now load up application in your web browser and it will begin the process of creating the tables. This process will take a few seconds to run on first load. When it completed you should see the dashboard.

Everyone is welcome to open pull requests with fixes/features into these respective projects, and they can be approved/merged by us with a few minutes of review. This is how github and git as a whole is designed to work. See something you like, fork the repository to make your changes, open a pull request back to the main repository so others can use it there.

If someone wants to improve the app I'm more than willing to apply any fixes or changes on github. I just no longer have time to do it myself anymore. The ownership I won't hand over at this time.

You would need to change quite a few files to make the DB work with the live scoreboard. It's not a simple line change unfortunately.

The tban & pban on the scoreboard don't work cause I didn't add the code for it (forgot to, never did). You can still ban through the players profile and it will work, you just need to kick them from the server on the board after you did the ban.

Make sure you switch over stat logger first and get that running on your new database. AdKats won't start unless stat logger fills in the server details in that database first.

In case you didn't realize this before, you will lose all of your AdKats settings for that server if you switch the database you're running on. All of the AdKats settings are stored on the database. If you want to export/import those you'll need to do that manually, and be mindful that the server ID for that server on the new database will (most likely) not be the same as it was before so all the settings would need to have the new server ID put on them for it to apply.

Stat logger keeps stats for players separate on each server, that's how it's meant to work. You only need one database.

Automatic bans for damage mods cannot be disabled or modified while running AdKats. The settings in that section have been optimized over the last few years and last year were made mandatory so damage mods are automatically banned regardless of any other plugins or scripts the admin is running. This script can also detect damage mods a player uses after 1 round of play even if they have many thousands of kills with the weapon. With thousands of servers running AdKats the community noticed a sharp drop in the number of people attempting to run damage mods, when they were rampant before the changes.

If you have a player who you believe is clean but is still being banned by AdKats you can add that specific player to the whitelist with !acwhitelist perm playername

There are very few things i've taken a stance on and removed options for in AdKats. Mandatory damage mod bans and a minimum of 60 seconds between spambot messages are those two things. Cheers.

If a player is marked as clean, this does not mean that he is actually clean, it means that there is not enough evidence for bf4db admins.

Most likely a VPN being used. We saw that too back in the day. Multiple players same ip, and all from a VPN. You don't need to worry. Unless you decide to IP ban them.

Ban 1 ip it bans them all, that's probably what's linking them together.

Yes, if you search on the IP it is 6 pages long ( 154 records ) ... all different accounts.

 

Can I do that from inside procon ? like /ban IP linked ?

      Changes to US-East:

      Starting in January 2022, we will be moving to a different provider that has better support, better infrastructure, and better connectivity. We've noticed that the connection/routes to this location are not ideal and it's been hard getting support to correct this. Our contract for our two servers ends in March/April respectively. If you currently have servers in this location you will be migrated over to the new provider. We'll have more details when the time comes closer to January. The new location for this change will be based out of Atlanta, GA. If you have any questions/concerns please open a ticket and we'll do our best to answer them.

      I wanted to give an update to how EZRCON is doing. As of today we have 56 active customers using the services offered. I'm glad its doing so well and it hasn't been 1 year yet. To those that have services with EZRCON, I hope the service is doing well and if not please let us know so that we can improve it where possible. We've done quite a few changes behind the scenes to improve the performance hopefully. 

      We'll be launching a new location for hosting procon layers in either Los Angeles, USA or Chicago, IL. Still being decided on where the placement should be but these two locations are not set in stone yet. We would like to get feedback on where we should have a new location for hosting the Procon Layers, which you can do by replying to this topic. A poll will be created where people can vote on which location they would like to see.

      We're also looking for some suggestions on what else you would like to see for hosting provider options. So please let us know your thoughts on this matter.

      If you are upgrading then you may need to add these two lines to your existing installation in the file procon.cfg. To enable these options just change False to True.
