Well we have servers on gemeserver.com and i can tell you guys plugin causes hang when server changing map, as i mantioned before we tested it with plugin on and with out , i understand its might be not plugin bug , something couses it , on Ranked , HC , NS ... To bad you dont wonna test it yourself , very good idea tho \!!!

Sweeeeeet, I was hoping it's just a setting that needs to be changed, Thank you so much! Really miss this plugin!

 

I can see changing this to keep the round from starting over and it doesn't seem to change the server to custom, so I am going to give it a try,maybe that will help keep things moving forward if a couple of first 4 guys get black screens.

This issue has been going on since early Feb. that I can see on a quick search!

 

...Have you thought about re-compiling your code for this plugin with the latest patch release and maybe post a link so ppl can test this to see if might correct this issue that lot of ppl are having!? (im not an expert so not sure of the steps required with this game but other games of the past I know this had to be done!)

 

I have not seen any pro active work on your part ... only sitting and telling ppl that no one has submitted any "proof" of the issue ppl are having with this and that no problem exists!

 

Also you need to keep in mind that lot 0f ppl here may only be Admin with limited capabilities with like the Game Providers Control Panel login and may not be able to get what you need as far as logs etc., etc.!

 

We all are here posting letting YOU know of a known issue because WE WANT TO HELP by informing you!

 

 

Once again, our server will not be using this until at least a new update has been issued and then we will try it once again!

It's a great plugin. The only thing is random instances where the server get's stuck at 8 or 16 max players and needs to be fixed manually. But other than that it's fantastic!

Same thing happens with Rush and CQ Small. I have to issue a round restart command in order for the plugin to work.

 

Also what values should i set in the default ticket count section.

 

 

I am using the latest version of the plugin 1.2.1.1

It's possible, but it shouldn't matter. The plugin looks ahead to see what the next map/game mode will be.

The logs you quoted aren't in the format that I expect. They're not the typical console logs. I'm not sure why.

 

Anyhow, I'd need to see the corresponding debug messages from ASS in the plugin console log to see what it's doing.

I don't believe it's the only cause though. But I think changing the server size between rounds can cause this.

 

Usually my server fills up too fast to notice this, but today it's a very slow day.

And it happened the first round the server changed to a lower slot size because of too many players leaving between rounds.

 

The plugin needs to set the server to max slots on round-end to make sure on the next round the max slots are available. But it might change to lower slots too soon, when the server and clients have not loaded the map yet.

 

I have the feeling this may be causing the black loading screens.

 

Not sure if this is correct, but I think we should make sure the plugin only changes the slots when the round has started and not before that.

So... this is a real server bug not caused by a plugin.

I can confirm that!

there are 2 ways of getting them one by server getting ranked at round start with this plugin enabled and the other possibility is a DICE bug between some maps if you change from 1 DLC to another.

 

hope there is a fix soon it's horrible now...

      Changes to US-East:

      Starting in January 2022, we will be moving to a different provider that has better support, better infrastructure, and better connectivity. We've noticed that the connection/routes to this location are not ideal and it's been hard getting support to correct this. Our contract for our two servers ends in March/April respectively. If you currently have servers in this location you will be migrated over to the new provider. We'll have more details when the time comes closer to January. The new location for this change will be based out of Atlanta, GA. If you have any questions/concerns please open a ticket and we'll do our best to answer them.

      I wanted to give an update to how EZRCON is doing. As of today we have 56 active customers using the services offered. I'm glad its doing so well and it hasn't been 1 year yet. To those that have services with EZRCON, I hope the service is doing well and if not please let us know so that we can improve it where possible. We've done quite a few changes behind the scenes to improve the performance hopefully. 

      We'll be launching a new location for hosting procon layers in either Los Angeles, USA or Chicago, IL. Still being decided on where the placement should be but these two locations are not set in stone yet. We would like to get feedback on where we should have a new location for hosting the Procon Layers, which you can do by replying to this topic. A poll will be created where people can vote on which location they would like to see.

      We're also looking for some suggestions on what else you would like to see for hosting provider options. So please let us know your thoughts on this matter.

    • I wanted I let you know that I am starting to build out the foundation for the hosting services that I talked about here. The pricing model I was originally going for wasn't going to be suitable for how I want to build it. So instead I decided to offer each service as it's own product instead of a package deal. In the future, hopefully, I will be able to do this and offer discounts to those that choose it.

      Here is how the pricing is laid out for each service as well as information about each. This is as of 7/12/2020.

      Single MySQL database (up to 30 GB) is $10 USD per month.



      If you go over the 30 GB usage for the database then each additional gigabyte is charged at $0.10 USD each billing cycle. If you're under 30GB you don't need to worry about this.


      Databases are replicated across 3 zones (regions) for redundancy. One (1) on the east coast of the USA, One (1) in Frankfurt, and One (1) in Singapore. Depending on the demand, this would grow to more regions.


      Databases will also be backed up daily and retained for 7 days.




      Procon Layer will be $2 USD per month.


      Each layer will only allow one (1) game server connection. The reason behind this is for performance.


      Each layer will also come with all available plugins installed by default. This is to help facilitate faster deployments and get you up and running quickly.


      Each layer will automatically restart if Procon crashes. 


      Each layer will also automatically restart daily at midnight to make sure it stays in tip-top shape.


      Custom plugins can be installed by submitting a support ticket.




      Battlefield Admin Control Panel (BFACP) will be $5 USD per month


      As I am still working on building version 3 of the software, I will be installing the last version I did. Once I complete version 3 it will automatically be upgraded for you.





      All these services will be managed by me so you don't have to worry about the technical side of things to get up and going.

    • I have pushed out a new minor release which updates the geodata pull (flags in the playerlisting). This should be way more accurate now. As always, please let me know if any problems show up.
