Advanced In-Game Admin and Ban Enforcer - AdKats

If you've been banned from a server then you will need to appeal the ban with the owners/community of that server. We do not control any bans done on servers that utilize AdKats as all bans are local to that server.

Ok sorted the problem @ my end, It was doing it repeatedly on 2 servers.

 

I fixed it by stopping the layer, deleting the Adkats.dll on both servers, and restarting the layer.

 

Before this, each time you restarted the layer, Adkats would disable itself, and you would have to re-enable,

and wait for it to re-initialize.

Try this one. Updated to v3.0.4. Was there a compilation error? Everything is running fine on our end.

I tried v3.04 and am having the same problem as kcuestag, AdKats isn't showing up in the plugin list, no compile errors it just isn't there also there is no corresponding .DLL file. I have reverted back to 0.3.0.1 and it shows in the plugin list again.

Just for comparison; We run 5 layers on our Hypernia VPS, single instance for each layer, and rarely have issues. Dual core/2 Gb Ram. Windows Server 2012 with IIS 8.

Works fine now, no idea what happened there. :biggrin:

 

But the plugin says there is a new version out (0.3.0.3) which is actually older, makes no sense. :huh:

No admins in admin table? It says complete settings and more settings will appear but then of course it errors and I never see any.

 

Ok I goofed, I used a separate DB without noticing that it had to use the same DB as the Map Stats plugin so switched it to that one, all info added correctly but now I get a boatload of these errors that scroll a whole bunch:

I don't get the "incorrect DB name", it is the correct name.

I have not posted docs for 3.0.4, because that one is actually being trashed as well. I found a problem with permaban punishes, if an @punish goes through as a permaban it kicks them from the server, but only bans for 1 second. Everything else is functional, just that one thing is messed up. 3.0.5 will have this fix.

It nukes either the US team, RU team, or ALL. If there is a problem, please be more descriptive.

 

Note: I put this command in because people wanted it, but am unable to test it on our full servers because we as a clan will never nuke a server, it's just against our policy for doing things. We're actually selling a 1 time use nuke for $500. I've only tested the command on several players at a time in my dev server, so please let me know if something is broken and i'll fix it.

Interesting, can anyone else repeat this bug? It doesn't pick/choose who it's going to kill, it loops over the entire group (team/server) and performs admin.kill on every one. Maybe it's sending the requests too quickly? I'll put a 30-50ms delay between calls in that function and push it with 3.0.5, let me know if that fixes things.

Thanks for the info and testing. Maybe once again it's a problem with hosted layers, so i'll still put the delay in there as a safeguard. It will take ~2 seconds to nuke 64 players then, which should be fine.
