You don't need this plugin to run a server like that. Just set maplist to locker only and tickets to 150.

I am trying to get the plugin to switch between 2 presets. One with domination for low player count and one with conquest when there are enough people on the server.

 

Domination preset:

# Custom Preset: Domination

vars.preset "NORMAL" true

vars.commander false

vars.serverType "OFFICIAL"

 

Conquest preset:

# Custom Preset: Conquest Small

vars.preset "NORMAL" true

vars.commander true

vars.serverType "RANKED"

 

I want the server to be in official mode when I have domination on, to get more people on the server. Then when I have enough people, I want to switch to ranked mode for conquest and enable commander. I can't get it to switch between RANKED and OFFICIAL without restarting the server. And I can't get it to show commander slots on Battlelog, until someone decides to be commander from ingame, then when the first commander have been active, it will show commander slots in Battlelog. What am I doing wrong?

 

Is it impossible to go from Ranked to Official status without a server restart?

I have a huge map list. When I try to create an UMM list from it, UMM seems to go away because the details screen goes blank and I have to restart procon (on the host) to get it to work again. And the UMM list is exactly how it is before I started.

If the plugin is otherwise working with smaller playlists, then it may just be that you've reached the limits of the PRoCon plugin options screen, which I have no control over. I've never tried to keep adding maps until it breaks, so I'm not sure what the limit is.

This isn't a bug with UMM, but rather a "feature" of the server. If you have ANY map that doesn't use commander in your map list, it will be disabled for all maps.

I am running ranked: My settings are

 

Conquest Large maplist:

Min players 30

max players 64

Min rounds 0

 

Conquest Small maplist:

Min Players 0

Max Players 40

Min rounds 0

 

If it looks like bug I can submit a bug report, I have a feeling I am just doing something wrong :smile:

Thanks!! You pointed me in the right direction I think :smile: I looked closer at my adaptive server plugin and saw that the conquest small had a max size of 32, I changed it to 50. Thanks much Falcon!

You didn't have UMM debug messages turned on, so the plugin console log was of little use. However, I can see from the console log that UMM did change the map list at 4:11:17 after the reboot. Then, shortly thereafter, at 4:11:37, the map list magically shows Conquest maps again. There is nothing in the log that indicates a change, so I suspect it was done by something external. Does NFO somehow inject their map list after the server has loaded or something?

I tested this and there's no problem using &. Not sure what happened there.

I thought that a bit ago. I thought I had left on the debug from a time before. I figured it out, NFO had a preset to start mapcycle on Conquest. All good now, thanks.

      Changes to US-East:

      Starting in January 2022, we will be moving to a different provider that has better support, better infrastructure, and better connectivity. We've noticed that the connection/routes to this location are not ideal and it's been hard getting support to correct this. Our contract for our two servers ends in March/April respectively. If you currently have servers in this location you will be migrated over to the new provider. We'll have more details when the time comes closer to January. The new location for this change will be based out of Atlanta, GA. If you have any questions/concerns please open a ticket and we'll do our best to answer them.

      I wanted to give an update to how EZRCON is doing. As of today we have 56 active customers using the services offered. I'm glad its doing so well and it hasn't been 1 year yet. To those that have services with EZRCON, I hope the service is doing well and if not please let us know so that we can improve it where possible. We've done quite a few changes behind the scenes to improve the performance hopefully. 

      We'll be launching a new location for hosting procon layers in either Los Angeles, USA or Chicago, IL. Still being decided on where the placement should be but these two locations are not set in stone yet. We would like to get feedback on where we should have a new location for hosting the Procon Layers, which you can do by replying to this topic. A poll will be created where people can vote on which location they would like to see.

      We're also looking for some suggestions on what else you would like to see for hosting provider options. So please let us know your thoughts on this matter.

      If you are upgrading then you may need to add these two lines to your existing installation in the file procon.cfg. To enable these options just change False to True.
