If you've been banned from a server then you will need to appeal the ban with the owners/community of that server. We do not control any bans done on servers that utilize AdKats as all bans are local to that server.

LOL. just lol. this has nothing to do with your procon version. The connection from your server to github fails. This is neither related to the plugin nor to procon.

Hi.Plugin gets an error every day.Yes, restarting the plugin will get rid of the error.But this is very inconvenient, since after restarting the plugin, after a while the error appears again.as soon as the error resumes spamming occurs every second and Procon stops responding to admin commands or responds to them for a very long time.Please tell me what to do or release a plugin fix

Hi.
I seem to be stuck at VIP/reserved slot problem and can't find the cause. One server host, two different servers, on one admins and vip slot players can join full server and it will free up slot, on the other it seems to be with no affect. Scrubbed through settings for both, and it seems they are the same. Maybe missed some really obvious thing, any help would be appreciated. Using Adkats for managing vip/reserved

You still need multibalancer. The orchestration options only define which group will be automatically added to the multibalancer lists. (As stated in the manual of AdKats)

Layer server issue. Its sort of to do with ADKATS in that it's stopped working trying to prove to my provider thats it the layer server at fault.

 

AdKats] ERROR-7600: [Unable to fetch required documentation files. AdKats cannot be started.]
[19:31:56 78] [AdKats] ERROR-7600: [Failed to fetch plugin links.]
[19:31:57 10] [AdKats] ERROR-7600: [Failed to fetch plugin readme.]
[19:31:57 41] [AdKats] ERROR-7600: [Failed to fetch plugin changelog.]
 

This was a previuously working solution, until i noticed ADKATS was having an issue so i restarted the layer server (wish i hadnt) and i'm now stuck at the above.

The provider says ( i have my doubts)  the machine that is running the layer server can see all links in the web request section however the above error says it cant or is being blocked.

I have tripple checked all the SQL settings and if i stop the layer server and run procon locally directly to the game server and use the exact same database it all works.

A couple of qiestions:

1) Can i move the json files to the layer server? i know this would probably stop/break updates to these so probably not wise.

2) Or is there i can anything i can type into procon somewhere to see if it can resolve DNS or see github?

Nothing you can do. If the layer is having issues resolving those web requests then it's on their end somehow. Either DNS not cached right or being blocked.

I have the problem too. What is your provider?
My provider says he dont have any Idea what causing this error.

I asked my provider to delete the DNS name cache and to use a different DNS. I will report what that brought.

My provider is 4netplayers.
Layer version is 1.5.1.1. Updating to the latest Version (1.5.3.5) has failed. Procon has no Plugins loaded. Unfortunately, due to lack of time, they have no time to investigate this error.
My Provider has to do all updates. I have no access (FTP, etc.) to the server.

The provider was able to rule out a problem with the DNS. You suspect the bug is on Github's side.
On my side, I'm missing the informations too. See Picture.

Your layer server can not fetch the files it needs from github.

 

My layer server was working and then stopped so i dont think its to do with the layer version.

Sounds more like your provider having issues. I don't have issues over at EZRCON with the procon layers. @Hedius also self-hosts his layers and doesn't have an issue.

Currently self hosting a MySQL Database. Same credentials working on Xpkillers logger. 

However when i try connecting enabling adkats in procon it says

The Error Msg says it.

You did not fill out all SQL connection variables in the settings.

Try running the stats logger for at least one entire round.

This is because it's unable to reach github to fetch weapon stats definitions among other things.
Contact your layer host and make sure the procon layer can access the following domains.
https://github.com/AdKats/AdKats#webrequests
